One of the items on my bucket list has always included seeing all 50 states. This can be difficult unless you are rich, retired, or in the service. But seeing that I am a Registered Nurse, there are needs all over the country to fill shifts in hospitals. What better way to explore the country? Not only will I see the land but, as a nurse I will learn so many new procedures in healthcare. Becoming a traveling nurse will help me grow as a nurse and as a person. I am eager to learn new things, meet new people, see new horizons. I am finally in a position that I can do this. Nervous? Yes, of course. Confident? Nope but I think this adventure will surely help me be confident. Excited? Absolutely!!! Life is short. There is no guarantees in life. And who knows, you never know where I will end up permanently.
Regarding trips overseas-the list would be shorter if I tell you where I do not want to visit....come to think of it-I cannot say there is no where that I would not want to visit.
Places that are on my radar are Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Ireland for the mere fact of ancestors are from these countries. I am able to somewhat track the locations in Norway and Germany. I would like to see India, China, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Greenland, Iceland, Africa, Mexico and South America and where ever my volunteer efforts will bring me. In July 2013 I can start applying for my credentials for Operation Smile; I am hoping to go on at least one volunteer mission as the cause is one that affects me personally.
