Puerto Rico has been amaizing!! When i got here three weeks ago it was on a contract that guaranteed my stay for seven games. pretty much since day one i have been trying to figure out a way to prolong my stay. i finished up my contract last thursday and, since im writting this on Monday, you can all see that i have found a way to stay. So unfourtunatly the day Birka and i returned to Lugano i had to leave for a friendly game. this gave Birka about a day and a half on her own to relax and recuperate. She tried to make my roomies and me brownies for when we got back but the directions we not in english and Betty Crocker was no where to be found. it was a nice thought and sometimes thats the most important thing. As if three days in Florence and two day trips to Venice and Siena were not enough Birka and i wanted to see the leaning tower of Pisa. I had been there once before and i knew it could be done with full satisfaction in a few hours time. So Birka is on her way home and I pretty much slept all day today and I figure i better post the rest of the blogs from our trip before Joes friends arrive. Hi! It's Birka again! We spent a day in Venice which was AMAZING! It is such a beautiful place. Nils had also been there before so he was excited to show it to me. It's great because when you get off the train you are right on a canal. It is so exciting to see! We walked around most of the day and even got lost and walked around the whole island in a big rush so we wouldn't miss our train. But everything worked out and it was a great day. Hey everyone, Ok so Bika got here fine and no major disasters befell us but there were a few interesting moments in each of our travels. For me; I purchased my tickets last week for what i thought was going to be a charter bus service to and from the air port. when i got to the bus stop however there sat a small 10 person van filled to the brim with worried and late travelers arguing in three different languages. Ok so we were going to rent a smart car and drive to Zurich, but we over slept so that plan fell though. we still really wanted to rent the Smart so we walked down and did it any way with no real plan. we ended up going to the a town about 30 mins away and looking at some castles there. then we drove home and went to the top of Mt.
