Pucha la vida de este..... Hola po Nico, la cago cada vez me impresionan mas tus andanzas, de verdad que te envidio por estar haciendo este maravilloso viaje.
Muchos besos y abrazos.
Atacama desert Nico, I've just been catching up on some of your blogs. I was reading the one where you state that you were at the worlds driest desert, the atacama desert. Oh dear.... A common misconception! We all know the definition of a desert is a place that receives less than254mm of rain a year. Quite clearly that would make some parts of the antarctic the driest place on earth as some of these places have not seen rain in 2 million years. Of course the next driest place would be the atacama with it's average annual rainfall of 0.1mm (250 times as dry as the sahara desert). Anyway, thought I should alert you to this. And yes, I am a bit of a chopper for pointing this out and also a little bored at work. Hope your enjoing yourself mate! Laters...
Lo estay pasando malitoooo!!! Pucha Nico..que te puedo decir....te envidio no mas y que lindo los paisajes en Lima, nunca lo crei asi...
Besitos y cuidate mucho

Respect for Retirees Hey Nic,
Really enjoyed your latest entry and I am looking forward to one day being a retiree so that I can visit these wonderful sites. Don't knock retirees, your Dad just became one, albeit early!!
By the way, he looks younger and younger and seems to be enjoying himself. His UN retirement party was great but you were missed! I saw Mamoush in the States last week and he asked about you. He is engaged to get married in a year's time. Azaria is in the midst of final exams and Kebret and I are being the same old boring parents, imploring him to study, not for us of course, but for his own good! Lots of love from here, Jo
Anaconda Mate, you really are jinxed when it comes to cameras!!
So did you manage to get that pic with you guys posing with it?!
Shit, you gonna have countless memories of all this travelling...
Quien como tu... Pucha primo quien como tu de ver todas estas maravillas que muestras en tus fotos, que bueno el saber que estas bien, supongo que a "Pedro" no lo invitaste a ser compañero de viaje...
Cuidate y siguelo pasando tan bien...abrazos..
All that way and not even one "la spaz" joke. I'm disappointed Nico.
What's Ramone and Noree's address in San Telmo? I want to send them a postcard. I may need you for a translation as well.

Dear Nic,
So nice to hear from you via your journal. I was really sorry about you losing all your pics though. I think your Dad should do some travelling with you now that he is going to soon be a FREE man!! We will miss him a lot here at work. Keep safe. Love from the Wassyhun family ( Jo, Kebret, Azaria and Mamoush).
Hail Hail (again) Nico, Just to let you know (as promised) that we are champions again thanks to a spectacular free kick from the star man Nakamura. Trust that all is well although Katy told me that some scumbag stole your camera. Hear from you soon.
Take care
John and Elaine
Neat! LMAO the Fiat Uno thing was very funny, but believe me, being in a Rent-a-car in Chile Valparaizo is way more annoying!! they offered me a Fiat 147 or Brio 1983 LOL...nice pics!=)

Hola hombre! Good to hear from you Nico - as always looks amazing and I wish I was out there! Just been working away myself though got the chance of a job down south which moves on to Europe after 9 months which would be ideal. Keep it real mate and will speak to you soon.
This is a plan I had for years and it is finally becoming reality. I decided to temporarily ditch the life I had between Glasgow and Geneva to go back to my roots. From the 5th of Dec, I'll be heading back to Chile to spend some time with the family. Then, starting from mid Jan and for the next 12 months, I'll be off for a grand tour of the continent. The initial plan: Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and back to square one, Santiago. From there and if time and money enables it, my last two and a half months will be spent in southern Mexico, Guatemala and Cuba.
I'll try and... full info
