Laugh for the day. Love reading your blogs, this one made me laugh, can surely relate to your descriptions of our age related issues. On another note, which I sure you know, it is too damm cold here in Wilmington. Enjoy the south.
Still damn cold I broke camp today and drove to town to the propane store and filled up. Took 6 1/2 gallons for my 10 gallon tank. Now I won’t feel bad about really cranking up the heat.
The Greatest ShowmAN Hey Kat! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It's always fun reading your blog. Thanks for the great critique of the Greatest Showman. This is the movie Lauren and I will go see for our traditional 1st of the year at the movies. How funny, last year's movie was also a musical: La La Land. Have a fun, safe trip and I'm sure I will be reading you again. xo
Tower Kathy, not sure my first comment got posted. The tower wasn't cluster phobic really it just suede a lot at the top. thanks for the heads up, but I probably have no intentions of going up the arch in St. Louis. not my thing at all. Nice how they did this didn't AutoCorrect well, I hope you get the
Tower Kathy, the ride did not make me feel claustrophobic, really, it just swayed a lot at the top. Thanks for the heads up but I probably had no intentions of riding up the St. Louis arch.
Beautiful! What an amazing place, I hope you're having an amazing time, you are making me want to travel again, I had the most amazing time travelling when I was in Laos 2 years ago!
What a shame about the shin splints though, the runner in me sympathises with you. Ugh I hate them! Lost count of how many times I used to get them!
My advice is to anyone is to keep doing stretches, also work on strengthening your hip, back and core muscles as this improves running form and posture, a lacrosse ball is a great cheap alternative to a foam roller. I used to suffer pretty bad from them but I've been pain free for as long as I can remember now, I bought a pretty good e-book on it actually and it helped me a lot, I think it was this one, http://howtostopshinsplints.com/stop-shin-splints-forever-review/ , I was skeptical at first but it worked for me.
Anyway hope this helps and good luck!
Hi What a beautiful place! It must be wonderful to see those gentle giants in their natural habitat. The scenery is beautiful with the shade from the trees shadowing the water adds to its beauty. Have fun and stay safe.
Lol Although you told me much if the pre trip stuff before you left, I got to laugh all over again. It seems like Moyà gave you more trouble! I am so glad it happened before you left, and not on your trip? Losing a debit or credit card is truly frightening. I am so glad you found it. Another disaster averted. Take care, drive safe.y, and I hope you see your manatees. Miss you and I am doing better but not quite there yet.
