I should have Zach or Chris write in French for you! Oh, well...Sounds like you are having the time of your life. Going to the Louvre is one of my dreams! During Art Appreciation one year...not sure which son's class....we asked the children why they thought the Mona Lisa was smiling like she is, and one of them said they thought she smelled something stinky:) You all must be exhausted, but what a wonderful experience for the 3 of you. I bet the boys get the travel bug big time after this! Start saving for more big vacations:) Enjoy:) Stay safe. xo
Cool! The trip sounds so cool. It sounds like you are getting to see so many places. We love reading about the trip! Sami and Kane get excited to check out the information. Have fun in Paris--hold your nose on the elevator of the Eiffel Tower!! Love, TASK
WOW! Mags,
You are now the travel expert! :) So looking forward to seeing photos and hearing more about the trip. Enjoy the remainder of the trip and be safe! Bonjour! Shell
To Nathen Sounds like youre haveing fun. Well if youre not i am on my trip. If you look on our blog I have a picture of the ALBUQUERQIE HOLIDAY INN. Thats right i went to ALBUQUERQUE... well actually i was asleep through it but. I LIKE PIE!!! Well see ya and remember WE ISN'T IN SKOOL.
From Arizona to Germany Would you believe Mark just mentioned to me this afternoon that you had set up a blog? Sounds like you are having a great time. He had been checking it from time to time without telling me! We're in Page, Arizona just a short ways from Utah -- getting another RV repair. This time, we're staying in a hotel. A good break. We're making the kids look out the window all the time as well. Looks like we'll have to have a show our picture vacation night in July.
Hi!! WOW!! The last 4 days sound like they have been an experience of a lifetime!! I really can't wait to see pictures and hear about it in person! Well, just wanted to let you all know that we're thinking about you! Hi to Dan and Nathan, say hi to Joann as well! Take Care! Sue
I hope you at least sang in your head, "Doe, a deah..." while you walked around Salzburg......I am jealous, as that is my favorite movie EVER! Enjoy the rest of your trip...love reading about it and telling the kids:)
Sounds great! Hi Guys! We are so excited to read your blog--I think this is our first blog ever! The trip sounds really cool. Nathan-- I feel for you. When Tim and I went to Paris--all I ate were pomme frittes (french fries)! I hated the food.
If I am doing this right, we dont see any pictures. We would love to see some either on line or when you get back.
Kane wants me to write that he loves you and Samantha just giggles.
Have a great trip and we cant wait for the next blog!
Cant wait until you get back!
Love, TASK
Hi! The website you gave me works!! Ha! Sounds like a great time so far! We are so glad that the 3 of you are getting this experience! So, after this trip, do you think you'll want Hershey chocolate again?? Can't wait to see pictures and hear more about what you're doing! Maggie, can't wait to see pictures of the flowers... I try to get creative, sometimes it works, this year the pots I have are not doing as well! Well, on our vacation, we went to The Schlitterbahn (a cool water park).... even though the name is German and it was fun, it may be as close as we'll ever get to the real deal. Hope all is well, we're thinking of you all and wishing you a good, safe trip! Take care, Sue and family
Ask for a Roll Mop Willi at the Hoffbrauhaus in New Oxford (?) has Roll Mops on the menu. If I recall correctly (and I believe I do) a roll mop is a very large pickle wrapped in creamed herring. Mmmm, roll mops. Is that drunk food or what? "Lessee, I got pickles and shum of thish fish. Oakley, dokley." Not exactly what i think of as traditional German fare, but what do I know? Ask around, and if they have roll mops, I can highly recommend them. But not until you've had six or seven of those enormous Oktoberfest steins of 9% alcohol double bocks.
Cheers!
Mark
This is fun Hi Marge!! I love seeing your journaling!! What an awesome adventure and opportunity!! Eat some gummy bears for us!! Guten Tacht!! Ich Leibe dich!!
Hey...I think chocolate is in order EVERY day:)
Keep having fun...would you believe Jake still has school tomorrow? And you guys are on vacation #50...or something like that! Did the boys weigh themselves before the trip? They may end up losing some weight! I wouldn't mind a little European diet, myself!
Be safe. XO
