I visited my good friend Christian in march 2013. The trip started in the beautiful coastal city of Trondheim. I took the express ferry to Kristiansund and there we met and started our journey inland, into the Dovrefjell NP.
It was a great trip, started as an attempt in nowegian ski-touring and ended, i'm glad to say as a snowshoeing expedition 😊
Along the way we encountered some nice and strange characters, slept in beautiful alpine huts, compared stoves, got mighty strong calves and experienced ski in fresh 80cm of powder...(I nearly drowned...)
The highlight of the trip was climbing to the very cold (-35c) summit of Snohetta (2280m)..in clear blue sky without a soul around...simply magical!
