Finally- someplace you've been I know about!;) Hey Estacia! I had a good time in Banos. I like that place. But yeah- Quito on New Years is hard to beat! You weren't stopped in the street by the sexy mujares, were you? Did you burn a viejo? And that market- holy cow! You could do all your Christimas shopping for the next 2 years and spend less than $100! I can't believe you're coming back to Oregon already! Hope the rest of the trip goes well.
got any traveling tips? It has been so wonderful hearing about all your adventures. Thanks for the updates. Sara and Tyson leave tomorrow for Buenos Aries and I don't leave till Feb. 12th. I would love to talk to you more about your trip and possibly get some tips on some hot spots. Safe travels home and blessings in the New Year.

I'm ready to travel, see some new faces, leave the comfort zone knowing it will catch me if I fall, attempt a new language, hike until my legs ache and see the true shapes of things, eat different foods and most of all, see different animals and plants that also call this blue planet "home".
I was talking to my 84 year young neighbor the other day. She is recovering slowly, but surely, from heart surgery. Her mind is sharp, her wit is keen and she's always offering great, and often humbling, advice. In this conversation she told me to "Travel while your body can, because whe... full info
