50th birthday trip around the world

It started simply enough with a trip to Sri Lanka for my 50th birthday. Then my family got involved. One of my daughters wanted to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum in Tokyo and the other felt she needed to go shopping in Camden Town in London. What the heck, why not do both and travel right around the world. We threw in a few extra stops in Hong Kong and Dubai to break up the long flights and time differences a bit more, and did the whole thing in March, over Spring Break, a month after my actual birthday.
