A very happy 2010 on your travels. It's obvious you are really enjoying your trip apart from the tunnels ! The pictures look fantastic, we bet you are glad that your old camera was not suitable for a 40 degees wash ! Lot of history and culture for you to soak up, great. We have really enjoyed our Christmas, lots of good walks and delicious food and drink To-day its snowing quite heavy, great for all the sledgers. When we stayed in Chang Mai the hotel had a fire and the town was flooded. Glad you had no mishaps. We are back from our sojourn in the States. Fantastic scenery!! - but we do prefer places where the cuture is different to our own. Mind you the culture of service in the US goes down very well! I think you should write a travel book. You are obviously very approchable being that you made so many friends. What a wonderful couple you sound, it must have been a pleasure for the "new friends" to have met you and i think they will also have wonderful memories. |
