Tribute Melissa, knowing your daddy the little that I did, I know how proud he must be, knowing you followed through with your dream - you went back, like the survivor that you are. He would not have wanted his passing to keep you from doing what you needed/wanted to do. Now, to this "Texas angel" business - that is for sure the first time I've been called an angel, and I could get used to it!!! Love you, miss you, look forward to seeing you on this side of the lake.
Birthday What a precious tribute to your dad, girl! You know how proud he is that you went back and are completing this dream of yours. Daddies want us to fulfill dreams, don't they? And how appropriate that you pay tribute to yours on his birthday. You're a good daughter, Melissa. I hope you know that.
Love you!
Hi! Hey, girl, I didn't realize you were leaving Hong Kong so soon! Probably seems you just got there, doesn't it? A lot has happened while you've been there, good and not-so-good; looking forward so much to seeing you next time I'm in the Sunshine State!
Much love!
Sharon
Enjoy your last days in HK! Can't believe that you are leaving HK just as Price and I are thinking of coming for a visit! You would have been a wonderful guide for us.
Enjoy your last month in HK!

WOW!!! I wondered why I hadn't heard from you lately - DUH! I forgot about your trip - and what a trip it was, apparently! I'm so happy that you are having all these opportunities. If anyone deserves it, and will benefit from it, it's you, girl!
Stay in touch -
Love ya!
Autumn relief from the heat of summer - we keep waiting in vain for autumn to find us! Here in the depths of So. TX, we're still with lows at night in the upper 70"s,low 80's. So, come on, autumn!!
Your pictures and message are beautiful as always. Enjoy the beach and enjoy Val.
Love ya!
Sharon

GO MESA! I am so ashamed that I don't think I have seen and experienced Hong Kong as much as you do, MESA! You really should be a CHINESE...and you really should just find a man in Hong Kong and root there!
I am now in the States (West Coast) and will be back to Beijing tomorrow. Take care, PAL!
100 foot table? Did I ever tell you that I think I am related to the Crews family? I'm free the 2nd of July and I just love treats on a table that is 100 ft long! Just kidding, sorry that you will miss your family reunion, but I'm sure that they will understand that you are adding memories in HK that will last a lifetime. HK agrees with you. You look beautiful. Miss you.
Greetings to the Big Budha Glad to see you're back up with the travel journal! I can't wait to live your wonderful adventures vicariously :-) Eat another goose foot in my honor!
Jo Sun (Hello) Friends! I am traveling to the City University of Hong Kong in 2006-2007 to gather data for the dissertation phase of my Public Administration doctorate from the University of West Florida. The guy on the left is Tex--the wonder dog--I'll miss him and his cohort in crime, Mollie, and my friends and family too. I'm sure Tex, Mollie and all of you will have some interesting adventures until I see you again! I depart for HK on September 27 and I hope you will check my travelblog site often for updates about the trip.
Do jyeh and Joy geen...(thank you and goodbye!)
