Saturday before the festival we climbed Wildseeloder. Included are just a few pictures taken. It may look like we are happy but I can tell you we are pooped. These pictures can't describe the beauty of the Alps. The festival was great. This year was the first year that the admittance was free and the street was packed with people. We listened to a couple of bands then went to the Riverhouse until 3 a.m. Me and Melissa talked to a young fellow named Haness from St. Johann(about 10 minutes from Fieberbrunn). We drove from Fieberbrunn to Salzburg yesterday and today. Yesterday, we visited Mozart Monument, The Archbishopric (Cathedral), Tomaselli Cafe, The Hohensalzburg Fortress and purchased tickets for the Sound of Music tour today. On the way back to our rooms, we ate delicious steaks at LaPampa's in Fieberbrunn. Great atmosphere, service and food. Mr. Richard and his wife, the owners, remembered Jason from 1998! Today, we enjoyed the wonderful Sound of Music tour and saw many beautiful lakes and historic sites. We have lots and lots of pictures to memorialize our adventures; unfortunately, I do not have them with me at this time. I will try to add them later. Well, our departure date is almost here - YEAH!!! Leaving out tomorrow from New Orleans, LA to Fieberbrunn, Austia via Munich, Germany. I hope we have wonderful flights and weather while we are there.... read more
