Dr. Cior Favicchio et al My wife and I just returned home from our 2 weeks in Italy, including taking a Pompeii tour with "Dr." Cior Favicchio. Yes, he was quite a character with dubious credentials, but was quite entertaining. We didn't mind paying him 10 Euros for the slightly less than 2 hours. We also visited some of the same places you visited. Italy is quite a place to visit!

Hello stranger It was great to see your mom yesterday who gave me the run down on how to read your blog. It sounds like you are having the trip of a life time. I'm thrilled for you that it has been such an adventure! Happily it sounds as if there are no regrets with your decision to leave your job and that you are enjoying Meg's great adventure. You look fantastic and I will be looking forward to seeing you when you come home
xoxoxo

“H, I, J, K, Yel, Yem, Yen, O, P" I think this is hillarious. Thats exactly how my mom reads the alphabets, I laugh and get upset at the same time whenever she does that. She has visited states 4 times and still have no clue. but I know its not her fault, she is new to all this just like those innocent kids.
Nothing improves your running speed like a charging rhino! Hey Megs, that sounds like an awesome experience (well, not the flight bookings part). Must be such a change coming from touring in Europe too!
Enjoy,
Tom.
STANDBY Megs, I bet Standby in Bangkok is not the most enjoyable thing but you know what, its just another great story you get to add to the fond memories in Life... Do not worry, it will work out, keep your head hi. Maybe go around the neighbourhood and introduce yourself, say hi to the locals and share a pint or three...You got my number, if you need a pep talk... IT will all work out for the BEST!!!
And do as the Romans do-(just not the prostitutes!) Can't believe the places you're seeing - you guys look really good bye the way - bet the 3 of you are quite an attraction! Looking forward to the next adventure. Bye all! xoxox Auntie BIG C

Deutschland uber alles !! Hi Gals !!! Its so great to hear from you. Got your postcard Megs. Thankyou so much for thinking of us. We love getting mail !! Looks like you gals are off to a good start. Nothing like German GEMUTLICHKEIT to get you off to a good start. Just have to let you know that summer is finally here !!! Its been about 29 degrees the last few days and a good high pressure system to keep it that way for awhile yet. Hey I am off to Errington tonight to sign up to go back to school for the next few months. I will end up with my Certified Master Organic Gardener Certificate !! How does that title grab you ? Its being offered close by so I better take advantage. Then I can go teach at North Island College in January. Sabine we got the fireplace out no problem Thanks again. Bryne has been harnessed to the roof the last few days. One side is done, now the other. By noon it is too hot to be up there. Justine is back on Hornby working. Shes had some real trials lately with some of the staff but seems to be working things out and hanging in there. I'll tell you about it when you are home. Have had so many people comment on my blond look that I don't know what to say anymore. It seems to have convinced a few other women with the same issue to go blond as well. As always Sabine you make me look good !!! Thanks. Can't wait to hear how Italy is and what you are all eating and drinking !! See if you can gather up a few great recipes for us to try. Look forward to hearing more from you all when you have some time. Love you but feel so connected with this email and internet stuff. Its GREAT !!!!! Bye for now. Schlaff gut !! Barbara
Way to go girls! Hey Meg - the regular updates are wonderful - you two covered some incredible sights and had a great time doing it! The beaches look like I may need to visit them one day!
Now you've hooked up with Mum and Kirby - more fun times ahead. Shadow is adjusting well to the condo lifestyle! she has quite the little chat with me when I come in and then the motor starts. Hugs to you all.
Have fun with mom and sib. Hi to everyone including Andreas. I don't imagine that you'll have any fun at all, especially with your Mom hanging around. Sorry, just regretting I didn't tag along too. Try to stay outa those tomatoes and other pungent fruit. Can't wait to see what happens next.
luv auntie c.

Enough talk about travel.. I'm finally actually doing it! The time has come to take a little working/school hiatus over the next 6 months to go explore some different parts of the world. This adventure began with the idea to volunteer in Nepal, but has grown to a multi-continential trip that will boast so many wonderful memories. The goal: to meet new people, learn about different cultures, visit some of the worlds historical hot-spots and possibly dabble in some of the festivities (and local beverages) that make these countries so wonderful! Sangria in Spain anyone?
I'm going to use this ... full info
