Hey Penny + Daz... Penny, you'll be glad to know you weren't the only one who strugled to walk following the run. I came good wendesday. Walked like those little fairy penguins mon and tues. Michelle still cant squat and we've sent Andy off for a bone scan (querying stress # in foot). Looking forward to seeing the photos you took. Hope the rest of Oz treated you well. Good luck with starting the new job. Thanks again support crew :-)
Welcome Welcome to Heyward Road Partner - we hope you received our e-mail sent on April 1st - no it was not an April Fool joke!!!
Anne says she is sorry she is not going to be here on your first day at Heyward Road but she looks forward to seeing you on her return from skiing

memory Is it just me or does anyone else think Daz looks rather like David Carradine in 'Kung Fu' (or whatever teh series was called) in the sunrise picture?
Socials... Dazza - blog has been very entertaining! You have a high standard to follow set by Partha since you have been away .....at least one social night out a month.(Don't have to be as messy as his leaving do mind you!)
Did you think I meant in foot clinic - course not!
Accommodation I'm not sure I would have fancied the five star accommodation in Bolivia but the Salt Hotel must have been amazing. Were you tempted to scrape bits off the wall to add to your chips?
Incidentally Penny, after your diagnosis at xmas, Ashley's 'skin problem' has finally cleared after THREE tubes of cream. I realised this must have been playing on your mind over the last three months, sorry for not mentioning it earlier. You can relax and enjoy the rest of your travels now.
Darryl, your likkle sis must be so lonely without you, she's coming all the way to sunny Npton to stay with her superior, but clearly less well travelled, and only slightly older, sibling very soon, woo hoo. Just running out to buy an air bed xx
Great pictures! Great! Extra pictures! ;)
Place looks very astonishing and definitely worth a visit!
What is this with these 'mock-pictures' and the Salar de Uyuni?
I saw more people who took pictures like that there ..
Is it a 'tradition' to do that there?
Greetings from the rather dreary isles Astounding. Bet you miss the sunny climes of ye olde England (or maybe not). Anj and I have watched you blog with the keenest jealousy. Never mind. At least the guinea pigs will be glad to see the back of you. Daz, Fran mistook the 70 year old for you - I had the same issues with the sea lion pic.
Take care
Leaving-do....Mikes not happy Update..had my umpteenth leaving-do..no prezzies this time- really felt hurt! Anyhow, even more funny news, Neets managed to decorate Mike's swish BMW beige leather seats with "red wine/vomit/chunky bits"...big man not happy! Also had a scolding from Neets mum (!) for "not looking after her daughter"...big man not happy!:-)
I was a little worried when I saw the picture of the rower, I thought it was Darryl, worn out by all the exhausting climbing and walking! Amazing adventures - I shall miss the blog when you are back.
Guess what We are having yet another leaving do for Partha next week, hope we all have a "welcome back "do for you both as well. I have given up alcohol for lent so any excuse for a drink after easter! Looking forward to your return, Mike is thinner, Iain isn't, Partha is cool and I'm still as grumpy as ever. Much love, Lozzer
Hi Guys!
I'm still reading your stories and following your trips (and being jalous ;)
It's funny to hear that Darryl is now 'el hombre de sport' :P
Roles are changed.
Which reminds me .. how is your Spanish doing??
You had some extra months to 'trail and error', so by now it should be close to fluent ;)
Warm greetings!
hi guys, how are you ever going to come back to live in England everything looks fab, your not missing anything here weather's cra* .Cheltenham races called off wendsday daz, but unlucky 4 you i managed to get in a round of golf. all i can say is you better be getting in some practice so dont eat to much guinea pig, keep yourself fit (thats a job 4 penny)and work on your wrist action(thats a job 4 you )and will c you soon . james
Hi there!
It's Nienke, the Dutch girl you gave your Ecuador LP to! Good to read you had a nice time walking up to Machu Picchu, despite the weather. I'm sorry I didn't leave you a message sooner, but there were some health problems at home (in Holland). Everything is okay now. I'm in Pisco at the moment, doing the volunteer work I wanted to do (with the earthquake), so that's nice. My blog is www.nienkedegraeff.web-log.nl (you can leave an reaction by clicking on the button "reacties" under every message) and my photosite is http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562406064xQhcGq . Have a nice trip, and you can expect your LP somewhere between May and July!

happy anniversary Hello guys
You are having such a wonderful time but soon to be over. We had good time at DUK but as sad as it is to say..... we did miss you Daz. Anyway just blogging to say happy anniversary for yesterday. Hope you did something special and ate something more appropriate than guinea pig. See you soon and can't wait to see photos although Daz you are only allowed a 10min slot per lunch time so that we can continue to talk about girlie matters the other 50mins. Love to you both NeetsXXX
where are your suitcases? Hi its great hearing all your news, I know you were planning to travel light, but I cant understand how you can go away for 3 months with 2 backpacks between you, whilst Jane C had a 23kg case, large cabin holdall [weighing at least another 15kg] plus large handbag when we returned from our 3 night break to Marrakesh this week. It appears Penny is more restrained with her shopping than Jane. Hope Portsmouth wont be too tame when you get back.
Lava i thought for a horrible moment that the picture of you squatting represented a particularly bad brush with local food, on second thoughts it probably does!
Looks fantastic,
N
Hey! Hi Guys, sounds like you're having an awesome time. Am so jealous as I'm currently stuck doing 3 months of surgery secondment and am v bored! That said, the weather is lovely here at the moment - sunny and crisp - so not feeling too bad to be in England. Plus I've got a week in Greece booked for the beginning of April so have some heat to look forward to. When do you get back...?
you may need a bigger house Dazza
Really understanding and kind hearted of you to all Penny to adopt 6 indian children. They will really enjoy living with you and using your games room. Knew you were holding off having your own kids for a reason!
