what am i looking at? Dear Penny
Please can you tell me which is the guinea pig and which is darryl. Having some problem telling them apart! The smaller thing on the plate looks a bit more tasty so I am assuming that could be the guinea pig
Neets xx
P.S. I note that Dazza is steadying himself on you after the 7.5hour climb. Not very gentlemanly is he!
How on earth are you two ever going to be able to come back to NHS mundanity! Not happy about the guinea pig - how could you Darryl?! I continue to be amazed!
Guinea Pig or Hamster wish there'd been a before and after picture of Daz' meal and his face. I have a hamster and 2 rabbits at home - will Daz please eat those for me too as I can't stand cleaning them out
hi guys trip looks fantastic hope you last the pace daz i know pennys used to all the walking and excercise mind you if your knackered when you get back i might have a chance at winning golf putting in lots of practice , enjoy
Tired... Typing this while trying to do your YPQ clinic......fun,aint it? Guinea pig pics very nice..not sure you would be able to have the same culinary delights back in pompey!
Keep the blogs and pics coming- really good fun reading them
Yuk Only one comment Yuk to the guinea pig - even more Yuk with its head still on. You look like Hannibal L. from Silence of the Lambs. Looking forward to pics of Machu Piccu.
One way to get out of YPQ.... Greetings from Pompey! 7th in Premiership... sitting doing YPQ sifting through e-mails (all those DNAs) and found your link. Then became deeply jealous and morose recalling fab Peru - did you see a condor at Colca? Guinea pig is delicious - just like chicken that has been steam-rollered? Give my love to the Inca Trail and Cusco - laugh as you think of us slaving away for the NHS! Jo
Enjoying the blog... your trip looks amazing, I am extremely jealous. I would have sent you a message earlier, but, i've only just worked out how to do it!!!! (its the blonde coming out again!)
It looks as though you are having a fab time make the most of it same old boring stuff here when you get back. Look forward to seeing you From Jo
the delightful english winter Hello! Your trip is soooo exciting but I am bored in Portsmouth, can you come home soon, there is not enough entertainment here....missing you both! Must start looking for a house for you in Southsea...
A whole Ib less? A place where you weigh less......amazing. Mind you, currently recovering from norovirus so hopefully that would have done something for my excess baggage. I have been reading all your blogs, some grateful relief from tedious night shifts and the like. Remember Pen to talk him into some 5star Luxury pad before you return.....! BW Abs
Greetings Wow it sounds as though you are having a fantastic time! We do love reading your blogs and reminiscing fondly about the good ol' days when we were able to travel too..... Sophie Rose Sharma is taking up most of our time at present but we are loving every minute - although the minutes between three and five a.m. sometimes seem longer than the others! She is gorgeous and getting bigger every day. No other news really but looking forward to continuing to read about your exploits and toasting your safe return when you get home (drinking wine again is SO nice!). Sxxx
reptilian porn Hi guys -thanks for the card- loved the mating tortoises- the facial expression very reminiscent of the night I burst in on gareth in a similarly comprimising position with some slapper he'd bought back from the Regal palace- not a pretty sight! How are you going to top this holiday when you come back?
All sounds as wonderful as ever.
Adam and I are feeling very sympathetic towards your weary legs at the moment. We have just returned from a weekend up in Snowdonia. I arranged the place to stay ( a v pretty Landmark Trust cottage in the middle of no-where.) and Adam decided on the walk, stupid of me really as he picked the hardest walk in our guidebook - the Snowdon Horseshoe. The guide said it would take 4.5 hours and it was fairly difficult. The reality was that it took 7.5 hours (!) and involved scrambling up near vertical rock edges, climbing along ridges and slipping our way down scree slopes. It's now Sunday night - we're arrived home and it's painful to walk up and down stairs (worse than post marathon!).
I like the way you've justified the buying of hat and gloves for the walking Pen, but not sure that earrings and a tablecloth will be much use!
Enjoy Lima, see the changing of the guards if you get the chance (straight from the institute of funny walks). In Cusco the best place for breakfast used to be La Tertulia, off the Northern corner of Plaza de Armas.
Keep coming with the blogs, Adam and George x
from Tracy Cranston Hi - Iain forwarded your blog to me at home. It looks amazing - you must be having the time of you lives. No great news this end except iain's office in the Diabetes centre flooded a few weeks ago with sewage from the tiolet opposite...he was not pleased!! He and Mike seem head to head at the moment for who is going to by the next meal - when football season finishes. Keep having a great time.Tracy
Wow! Following this trip is just so amazing, what an experience! I am green with envy but also in awe of how you put this all together. You have just achieved my dream, of seeing giant tortoises mating - sick I know! It's good to see how fit Dazza is becoming - he will need it to manage all the work Partha is generating for him!
Look forward to next installment!
So pleased you had a great time in the Galapagos- your photos bring back lots of lovely memories of out time there. Will have to share stories when you get back! Sarah x
Hammocks I just wondered if there was a name for obsessive, compulsive hammock disorder? Darryl seems to have spent most of his life, discussing the suitability of, describing the plus points of, designing the best place for, constructing, laying on, or thinking of laying on hammocks. Has anyone else noticed this behaviour, are there other hammock obsessives, is there an appropriate society for hammock obsessives, where Daz could meet like minded people? Without having to travel all the way to Belize??
hi guys
looks like your enjoying yourself, penny looking very good in the bikini das no wonder your smiling by the way daz i found out where your going next and have sent over a razor try and use it and tidy yourself up catch up soon.
Pics? Oi..where are the pics!!?? Anyway, as Sue said..apart from crap coming out of Iains room (no puns intended, honest!)- alls same at QAH. Another night out coming up in Feb..let me know if you want to have your name on the list....
Hi, given your blog details by No-Pints - we were at the same meeting. Looks really exciting - you won't want to come back! I'll keep logging on to see how you are doing.
Keep going! Hi Guys...I can see that this break is getting tough for you! If you need any reason at all to keep going and not return for a while then perhaps the thought of the diabetes centre being flooded by effluent will suffice! Well Iain's room and the hallway - awful mess and we nearly had to close down the place. Otherwise the world carries on! Great photo's....
Snakes return Hi Penny and Daz, it great reading your blog, sounds like your having a dolphin of a time. Dad wants to know if there are any Mangos in a mangogrove, he asked if I could plant some in the garden for chukney. Please find out the germination method planting and maintenance proceedure, oh and how much space they take up, oh and would we need a canoe to harvest them. Also the snake you 3 tormented from the pool turned up again and i managed to release it "alive" into the neigbours garden. Mating season is upon us and the frogs are trying to relocate to the pool again. Thinking about it, I should have kept the snake around to discourage them. Had rain here for 3.8 sec. Busy planting this years crops. Keep enjoying yourselves, look forward to the next installment.
It all sounds fantastic and you're cramming alot in! Very jealous of the diving Penny, makes me want to head out that way again.
We (Adam, Cat, Woody and me) were wondering if Daz had managed to find a bar with television to watch the Liverpool vs Havant and Waterlooville match?! Also wondering if the 6 nations is well televised out there (starts Sat).
Life here is just to exciting to cram all the news in so keep up the blogs so we can keep an eye on reality! x x
