Chile !!!!!
Welcome to Chile, Fats. Must have been your lucky day yesterday with Speedy Gonzalez AND an unbelieavble 45 quid up at the casino. You never do that when you're with me.....are you sure you're up, 'cos if you are, then that should cover you for the entire week's expenses. Tell you what, though : in your excitement, you forgot to post all the photos. C'mon man, get with it. I must admit that when I read your blog, it seems a bit far-fetched : British VIP, ok, understand the positioning here - but surely they knew something was wrong when they actually saw YOU ? Keep having fun !!!!

One other thing
Forgot to mention one other thing : loved the photo you took of the dance floor in the place where you were having the evening dance...no-one is there, except for a couple of lonely biddies. Still, I can just imagine you loving it, as there was so much space for you to shake your torso about to the Peruvian version of Hey Jude or Mustang Sally !!!

Good to talk
Good to talk last night from the depths of your canyon - and to hear all is well. Big scandal here last night as France beat Ireland in the playoffs for the World Cup thanks to a goal by France preceded by a blatant handball by Thierry Henry. The first time so many people think that the outcome has really been rigged by Platini and co. Bet you don't get Sky Sports over in Peru.... Off to Paris tomorrow for the weekend, just so you know. Keep in touch. Ciao.

Buona sera
Glad you are having a good time and you enjoyed the island. Lara has been telling me all about it. We had our favourite pasta tonight - not spaghetti. Hope you are feeling well, it was nice to talk to you last night. Ateni ala salute baci mama

Lake Titcaca
Hey Fats, Good to hear from you again. Am I right in thinking that you were slightly disappointed by Lake Titicaca ? Somehow, the usual fizz and enthusiasm didn't come through in your last blog....or maybe you're just knackered !

An Announcement?
So rumour is it that you may have found a bride to bring back…or maybe that was the coca tea talking?? Hope you are having a great time, - at least the food has improved from the guinea pigs, and the 10 hour journey wasn’t too bad. One final thing, only you could be in the middle of Peru – and still twist about Gordon Brown! Speak soon x

Hail !
Great photos again, love the party dresses....you've been gone away a week now, and must have seen and experienced a lot, but for me, the time has just flown by. Hope Lake Titicaca is just as enjoyable as the rest and let us know when you are back in the internet world. Take care !

Back on the trail
Good morning, Fats, Sunday morning here, and we awake to the rain of Brussels, and England's 1-0 defeat against Brazil yesterday in a friendly (they were useless, but it was the second team). You seem to be getting through all the places at a fair crack, and the photos of the people are superb. I hope Lake Titicaca lives up to its reputation. You still haven't sent me your itinerary, man..... Keep enjoying yourself. The food looks delicious ! Ciao - Carlo

Buongiorno !
Good morning, Fats. So I wake up to the Lago d'Orta as you prepare for Machu Picchu - can't be bad for both of us. Great pics of the local kids, by the way - the one of the schoolgirls is excellent. Take it easy today, and don't overdo it. Want to hear all about Puntas Arenas as well. Ciao, Carlo

Mario hits Cuzco
Hey, Fat Man, Great pics - take it easy on any exercise at altitude. Still need you to do some work for me on the house in Italy !!! You don't waste any time in taking pics of the place and people. Let us know if the budget looks as if it will last the trip, and don't forget to buy me a hat with some pom-poms. Cheers and saluti from Geneva (very good meetings today), Carlo

Viva Peru !!!
Welcome to Peru !!! You will just be getting up now for your 3 am check-in. C'mon : it could have been worse. Your flight could have been cancelled, or you could have been delayed, or your bag could have been lost. Just chill out on some of that Peruvian coca, and keep sending the pics. Can't wait to see if you survive the altitude at Machu Picchu

Should have stayed in Gateshead
Great start, Mario - looks as if you'll get an extra day in Madrid. Usually though intercontinental flights still go ahead even when there are strikes. Anyway, with all the time you have on your hands, what's the hassle ???
