The final straight Well, Fats - you're into the final straight now. What a last 4 weeks it's been ; Peru, Chile, the girls, even more girls, Argentina, Ushuaia (which appears to have been your fave place) and now back to Chile. As you don't need to schlepp anything around with you any more, now's the time to go crazy and buy me all those presents !!!!

amazing images the images of the glacier is absolutely amazing - and the moonrise. Sounds like you are still having a fantastic time - i can almost hear you speaking when i read your post. bet you are looking forward to coming back to gateshead and all the fantastic images you can take here!!!!
The things you get up to How is it that they ask YOU to take over the boat ? I would have been crapping it, especially as I have forgotten how to chart my course. Nothing beats doing it visually....
You could have stayed on until Xmas, man, or even Easter. All the stuff you are missing back home; like rain, and more rain. Looks a fabulous place, but where have all the girls gone ?
And I will nicely ignore the comment about the sea lions reminding you of me, although it could have been worse and you could have spotted a whale.

Argentina ! My God, you seem to have become a right fan of Argentina. Who would have thought it ??? Great talking to you yesterday - you were in such a good mood. The girls must have given you a proper sending-off. We are left to the wind and the rain of Northern Europe.

Floods Hi Mario!
You are having quite an adventure!! Glad you are enjoying yourself. The floods in Cumbria have been dreadful. Fortunately this time the North East has had really good weather recently.
Yesterday we had a very successful morning with our exhibition of photos and coffee morning. Customers and APG members really enjoyed themselves as well as making some money for our funds.
