The luckiest people alive! Wow guys I just thought I'd log on to catch up on the latest news as the whole family are going away this weekend and so we'll be out of touch for a few days. This latest entry of your adventures on the Pacific Sunrise sounds absolutely out of this world and reading your wonderful words I have just sat and had a tear. I am in awe of what an amazing life changing experience this has been for you both and it's so fantastic to hear you are so happy and enjoying every single minute of your year travelling around the world. You have seen things that most people in Plymouth will never see in their whole lives and you sound like you are taking it all in your stride. They say money can't buy you happiness but just look at what a bit of hard saving has meant you can experience in your lives you lucky devils! We think of you all the time and totally wish we were with you (although not sure I'd get that close to you with that awful beard Coco) and we are counting the weeks down already until we can see you both again. Love you lots and lots from Helen xxxxxxxxxxx

Penwills Glad the home sick passed over, I know what I am sick of yes the bloody football, its on nearly every night especially this week. You might have been travelling for two days and felt exhausted but so worth while to now experience the sky dive and the snorkelling. I would love to have a go at a sky dive, you were very brave Soph as you are scared of so much. Your e mails really make us chuckle always on the look out for one creature or another. You were really good when you saw the tigers in Thialand. Count down six weeks to go and we will be able to have a cuddle. Dont get me a smaller grass skirt !!!!!
Still keeping very busy and the time is going quite fast, we seem to be out every weekend eating and drinking. Sat night before last had a good night at Elm managed to do a stint of brake dancing. I have suffered a bad back for 12 months and since that night I have not had any pain, the hard floor must have done it the world of good !!!!! Sat just gone I was on ladder duty with your uncle Stephen, we painted Grandmas house, it was a lovely day but yes we had to have the radio on for all the football. You are both still having a wonderful time and still squeezing so much in. Keep happy and look after each other
with all our Love Mum Dad Arron
Spawny gets Well why not just rub salt in my wounds!!! Just got back from work and read your blog..... well I'm going back there again tomorrow and the next day and the next day.....
Na seriously glad you're both loving it. take care of yourselves and each other (Jerry Springer, 1996).
You old romantics Hi just read the latest blog and you have done so much in Cairns unbelievable really.Missing out on Airs Rock is nothing in comparason on what you did achieve whilst in Cairns, and what memories to have for all of you lives. Everything just looked so nice from the photos from the lagoon to the Snorkelling and as for the ski diving well i can only say awsome. Good on you both, you certainly are braver than most people i know, and when ive told people that you done a ski dive they crinj at the thought of it. Yet the younger element ive told have smiled and said no way! A young man who has done a ski dive who i spoke to on Sunday at lunch was well pleased for you both as he said he had done one in oz and it was the best experience ever.
Now you are off on a romantic boat trip to those tropical islands called the Whitsundays. They look wonderfull on the net because we have already looked, and you have lovely weather too sunny and around 26 or 28 degrees. We all wish we were there with you as Plymouth is cold and raining today and will be for days to come they say. Look forward to the next update although we know it wont be for a few days yet as you are off on the romantic part of your ozzy trip. Lots of love to you both mum xxxxxxxx
Holly S@£t!! Hay guys - what an awesome experience, my heart was going mentos when I read about you ski diving, don't know whether you'd get me up there, but a great feeling I bet, can't wait to see the dvd! The lagoon looks fantastic, total paradise I bet, and the sailing trip will be great, I love sailing with our company boat, I don't get waited on though, it can be pretty tough going, but great fun when you're sailing really fast! Well, it's all hands on deck here, no pun intended, but we now have our venue and the church sorted, dj booked and I'm off to book cars and photographer in the next few weeks, then we can relax a bit. Nat has been looking through wedding mags, the pile in our front room is hurendous, you know me - Mr tidy - but it's all worth it, Nat is loving taking clipping and photos of things we've seen. Me and howsey have booked a day in London, he wants a new suit and I thought I'd have a look at a few tailors for suit ideas for us boys! how excited am I! SUIT ME UP! I can't believe it's been 8 months, the first few went really slowly for me, but with everything going on here, the time has flown by, bet it's been the same for you. Bears been looking into some stag weekend ideas, and I think Nat nearly let slip the other day, cheeky monkey but I can't wait for that. As you know it's the caravan weekend this weekend which I'm really looking forward to but certainly gonna miss you both not being there, but we'll have a cheeky shandy for you both. Anyway guys, keep up the good work, loving it, and I'll email you soon once a few more things have been sorted out. MISSING YOU LIKE MAD We love you both Chris and Natalie x x
Envious!! Hi Martin & Soph, well havent you both been busy busy busy! Can't believe you both did the Sky dive well done Soph you would't have got me there even if you'd paid me.
Glad you managed to get to an outer reef in Cairns, as I remember diving on some which had nothing but dead coral, it wasn't until we got a long way out that the coral came to life, along with everything else. Amazing as I remember.
Well I expect when you read my e-mail it will mean you are back from Sailing the Whitsunday's. Ah !! I really hope you enjoyed it and it lived up to what you'd built up in your mind.
I know I thought it was real paradise, and I must admit out of all the places I have visited it was just one of the best. I truly would like to visit it again some day.
What was the name of your boat? you never know it might have even been the one that we sailed on 6 years ago! I do forget the name so I will have to dig out some photos to remind me. Our boat also only took about 16 passengers, which made the trip more individual and personnel as you got to know everybody on board.
I hope your weather was good there too. I tell you what we also did was a helecopter ride around the islands, this was also amazing and I remember it only cost us about £25.00 each.
Well I've just come back to work from my 10 days off which has just flown by as ususal. Grandad and I were busy today painting the walk in wardrobe/room, along with filling in holes in the walls and general tidying up. A bit fed up today, as these two rooms seem to be taking for ever to finish, and were only about halfway. Still must not complain I'm so lucky to have all the help I have especially from Grandad, and Uncle Keith came up last week and did me some spot lights and bits, and Uncle Steven arrived on Saturday to remove the old rads. So all is taking shape.
Everybody's looking forward to this coming weekend when they will all be off to the Caravan's, unfortunately I'm unable to go as I have to work, I'm taking reasurance from you both also not being there, and Millie can't come either, so this makes me feel a bit better. Will have to make up for it next year!!
Went out last Sat night with Jane & Joe to help them Celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary, there was about 40 of us, and we all had a merry time as per ususal, especially Jane!
Jane & Joe have just come back from Hawaii which they loved. Jane thought it was paradise and loved every minute. She said it wasn't overly expensive, the same sort of prices as England to eat out etc, but the shopping was great, really really cheap. They had to buy another suitcase to bring everything home! Loads of nice surf shops, so save your penny's for there!
I've not had time to look up my bits about Fiji, but will make sure I do it before you leave OZ. (all up in the loft, so not very convienient).
Well I better sign off now, can't wait to hear your next blog, as I know it will be magicial.
Love to you both, take care and miss you loads, started to count down the months now! but make sure you make the most of it, because as soon as you've been home for a week you will want to be back travelling again!!
Lots of love, Auntie Sharon xxxxxx
Just heard the latest. Hi you two just got in from town shopping with Helen (she didnt buy anything) and dad greeted us with the news that you had sent an e.mail saying you are still alive after doing the greatest thing ever SKYDIVING. Ive read the e.mail and you certainly have had a blast doing that, and im pleased both of you were able to do it too. That will keep you talking about that adventure for a very long time now and with everyone you meet in the future. You said you have a dvd of it that should be scarey as hell from my point of view as you both know im no good with hieghts. Im sure ill watch it when you get home so keep it safe. Glad to read the latest blog you definately enjoyed your stay with Martin and Dawn. Im not sure about the shaving bet between you both over a meal on your return. You look like a wild man from a jungle from what i can see from the photos. Poor old Sophie having to look at that 24 7. let alone kissing you (horrid). Sort him out Soph eh. You did the right thing getting to Cairnes and then making your way back down the coast. You will have to plan your route well and the timing of it all too, sos to give you enough time to see the people you need to see again and to sell the van ect. I know you dont need me telling you that as you are well awear of all that. Only 5 weeks now i think till you move on to Fiji if it is at the end of May. It will fly by, but you have all those beautifull sights to see of beaches, islands and oceans ect before that happens. Sharon is so excited for you both now as this was the best time of her trip to oz i think especially the islands and snorkelling ect.
Everyone here is ok, dads foot is slightly better at last, and my cold is all most gone i like to think. Helens vertigo has to be lived with and she has to avoid fast moving things if she can, and keep taking the stugeron. Granddad Michael is ok but frail i would say these days (wobbly on his feet) and he has very little energy but hes fine. We had Grandma Lilly here last night for tea for her birthday. She has her bad back problem but she was able to eat some tea and stayed untill 8 oclock which was good. Helen gave her money and on her card she included both of you and Ash so grandma said i had to tell you she had done that and to thank you for your kind wishes, and the money too. Grandma did have a tear when she saw the birthday video and was read the latest birthday wishes from you both. She loved it all. Granddad David and Sharon came too and are both well and busy doing bits in Sharons bedroom this week. Not really seen anyone else this week so that my up date on life here at the moment.
Helen is out tomorrow night and is out for lunch with Ashes dad on Sunday at the minute.
We are out with Donna and Kieth on Saturday night at the Wha Tin that should be another gut busting experience (we always over do it when we go there). Nice though i only feel guilty the next day, but the next day dad and i are at Albion for a roast lunch and a drinking afternoon as its the end of season do. Ill never shift my holiday pounds at this rate but what the heck.
Hope you are both well and taking great care of each other as always. Be carefull when swimming i know it will be supervised no doubt, just the same you know how i worry.
Be carefull to when driving too dont drive hours on end if the weather is raining will you. ENOUGH JACKIE you old worry wart.
Love you loads and loads keep living the dream mum xxxxxxxxxx

Bonjour! Hey guys lovely to see your latest update and hear all the news from you. Glad Laura and I were not the only ones to have rain on our holidays!Ha ha! We spent last week in the not so sunny south of France with Laura's Grandad Jim and Ena. It was lovely to see them and see all the lovely sights in the region where they live. Ena's son Julian took us to visit every street of Montpelier and Nimes he was the most detailed tour guide ever! We also visited the coastline and several seaside towns but all in the drizzly rain which was a shame. Didn't speak much French but ate lots of French foods and enjoyed a daily 'crepe au nutella'!!. Flights went well for me even though both journeys were very bumpy during the descent. Had lots of laughs with Laura too so that was lovely. Nice to hear you are having a great time with Martin and Dawn, can't believe little Paddy is already 4!! Enjoy the sights of Brisbane and I hope the weather improves asap. Love to you both take care Helen xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
weve landed and all is happening home here. Hi you two, just a quick catch up as its been ages since we blogged last.We have returned from hot and sunny all inclusive Mexico to cold though bright and snowy Plymouth.Had a fabulous holiday hope you recieved some of our better pictures and both dad and myself have come back a golden brown and several pounds in weight heavier.Never mind it was all worth every penny. On returning home on Thursday we heard the lovely news that since we have been away Natalie and Chris have got engaged and we were actually the last to know as weve been out of the country and other people were asked not to tell us.We shared a couple bottles of bubbly with them once they told us on Thursday evening it was just wonderfull news we all were so happy for them and they havenot stopped smiling yet. They had a get together at the ELM on Saturday night with everyone who could make it, the dancing and karioki went on till the wee small hours, a great time was had by all im sure.We went back to work today which was a struggle after three weeks off but never mind it has to be done eh! Helen is now in France with Laura and is staying with Jim and Ena (Lauras Granddad ).We know shes happy to be there and her flight was on time dispite the frost and snow(althought its not been to bad). Weve seen on the weather lately that Brisbane has had rain recently and has it forcast for the next few days, hope it doesnt stop you enjoying yourselves.May be by now you are at Martins for a while. So the rain wont matter will it.Liked the video of the Kanga you seem to have aquired a strange ozzy accent these days makes a change from the usual liverpool one that slips in every time you visit southport.Hope Sophie is well and enjoying all that beaching, glad to hear the surfing rules Soph im glad your keeping Martin in check, as far as the sea is concerned anyway. OK speak to you soon, take care always and drive and swim safely, lots and lots of love mum xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Happy Easter! Happy Easter guys! Hope you've had a nice weekend. I thought of you both a lot today as all the gang gathered at Bantham beach for the traditional Easter BBQ, fun and games - yes we even had an egg and spoon race! Auntie Brenda organised it all and looked after me well with Mum and Dad not there - she's a star! The rain held off and the sun even came out a few times, not warm enough to take coats and scarves off, although Trus and Bandy wore shorts the crazy devils.
