The Blog How exciting! Wonderful pictures! At present I'm reading a biographical novel about the excavation of ancient Troy by the Schleiman's in the 19th century. And there you are in Istambul! Hope to hear more from you!
...and you're off! Write on, Martha. I love your blog. Please remind me when you come to visit on San Juan to tell you the story of the Turkish ring. We see that you will have many tales to tell us by the time you arrive...
peru, maybe? Looks like a beautiful start to your trip. Post a picture of the sea, when you have one.

Adventures of mother and father bear in Istanbul Looks fabulous and well worth a visit! Thanks for sharing. Belated Happy Birthday to Phil for yesterday (19 July) - hope I've got that right! Lots of love to you both. M xx
Lovely weblog Dear Martha, I really love your weblog and it's very interesting for me because some part of Turkish culture and history are in common with my country. Hopefully you have great time in Turkey and thanks for sharing your experience with us.
I'm waiting for new part .
Cheers

Hello! Hello, I love your article, but could you possibly tell me the cordinates of Glass Mountain? I need it for a science project, but miraculously no sites have them. Please help!
Thanks for the ride! I have three panels on my iPod weather app: Philadelphia (where we live), Ocean City NJ (where we do what they like to call surfing here), and Coffs Harbour. For a while they looked pretty similar (on the thermometer, anyway) but just in the last few weeks the temperatures have begun to differentiate as Coffs warms and we light our woodstove to ward off the evening frost. When we need to be cheered up we close our eyes and hear the butcherbirds whistling, the bowerbirds rattling, and the wild screams of the yellow-tailed black cockatoos. Wish we were back in Oz, too!
Would love to tour the Southwest with you! Martha: We are very simpatico in our preferences. Seeing Mesa Verde at age 18 was transformative and a crucial reason I chose to spend 22 years in Albuquerque. Studying the Anasazi, and the mysteries of Chaco Canyon, has been a beautiful exercise in the rise and fall of human civilization. Your perspective and pictures have both piqued and allayed my homesickness. Thanks for sharing!
