Nice to have a rest day...
It was great to read that a good samaritan found Jeff's wallet. For the remainder of the trip I think you look after Jeff's passport, wallet and any other valuables he has :-) I'm enjoying the photos and blog. It also looks like the weather has been good for riding so far, fingers crossed that it will continue.

Lost or stolen
I suppose it really doesn't matter which way you loose your wallet, it's gone and what a hassle. Tighten up security and safe travels. Photos look great. Ciao Mick

No mirror?
Jeff will need a mirror around the Netherlands, bikes everywhere.

Thanks Mark! You've inspired me to get back on the bike. I also found a useful collection of cycling maps at cycle dot travel fwdslash browse. Seems the Poms have quite a network of "National Cycle Paths". BUT, you do know Istanbul is in the opposite direction? If you keep going west you'll end up in Wales, and that gets very uppish.
