Awesome...
What an awesome ride by you and your two amigos. I've thoroughly enjoyed your daily travel blog. Have you started planning your next cycling safari???

Thanks Gav
I think I'll let this one sink in first, although we may have had informal discussions on possiblities.

Well done
Hi Mark, well done on a mighty ride. I hope your legs can manage the steps at home. To Tom, Go Pies. Great achievement to you all.

Thanks Mick
It was kind of weird walking back into the place. No problems with the stairs, my legs are primed!

Glad to hear you’re having so much fun racing carts :-)

It was so much fun. I was just missing my Mario suit.

Strudel - With a Difference

Yum!
That a rather nice looking, and well deserved, strudel. Yum!!!

A train?
The coffee stop looks very similar to a train carriage? Safe travels.

Nuremberg Looks Fab...
I've got some friends visiting Germany next month so I'll let them know how fab Nuremberg is. You're nearing the 2,000km mark, so you should celebrate with an extra coffee and an apple strudel when you do.

Part of the Imperial Castle, Kaiserburg

Hit 2000kms today Gav, 3.4kms after leaving Regensburg. With over 90kms today the total moves on quickly. I think we're probably about half way distance wise across Europe now.

Bamburg, what a town.
So many beautiful towns in this area. Great photos. Are you going to Munich? Neushwanstein castle is a must see if possible. Safe travels
2nd August 2023

Unfortunately not getting to Munich, it's too far off the river for a detour.

Nice manager
Great of the manager to go to dinner with you. Nothing like local info. Watch out for those European watching machines as they all seemed to shrink our clothes last time we visited. Bamburg is beautiful. Safe travels.
1st August 2023

Are you sure it was the washing machines and not the pastries that were shrinking your clothes

Day 1-29
Mark I’ve just read your whole blog in one session- I’m exhausted reading it so you and Jeff must be well and truly rooted. Great effort and I look forward to further instalments 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️
1st August 2023

Great effort Rod, I'm not sure I could have done that myself. I hope you were sipping a nice red at least while reading.
