(probably only Matthew gets that joke) Seriously though, I know I haven't updated in a while, but we've been pretty busy sightseeing in Egypt and fast internet connections are not exactly easy to find around here. Hello All, Well, Andrea and I have spent the last two weeks island hopping here in the Aegean Sea. We haven't done a great deal of sightseeing, mostly just relaxing and hanging out. Below is a short description of each island we've been to with some pictures. We're heading to Crete later this afternoon and after we spend a week there we're flying to Egypt! Hey all, Here are some more pictures of our time in Italy and a few from Corfu. We left Corfu yesterday and have made our way to Nafplio (crossing the area that was apparently hit by an earthquake last week) in Greece. Tomorrow we go to visit the ancient site of Mycenae to see some amazing ruins. All I can say is that WE LOVED CORFU!!! Great weather, beautiful beaches, good food, friendly people... we had a very nice vacation from our vacation ;-). Hey all! Well, Andrea and I have finally made it to sunny beaches and at least relatively cheap prices. We're here on the Greek island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea and we couldn't be happier. We've been soaking up the sun and relaxing, which is nice because the last two months sometimes felt like a sight seeing/museum marathon. We think we'll be here in Corfu for about 8-9 days, I may finish my Open Water Diving training, but then we may just spend the whole time at the beaches. Hey all, Drea and I are in Rome now and having a great time, except for the fact that it takes forever to get around in the city. Anyway, back to where I left off last time (with some pictures from earlier times). Mont St Michel After our happy reunion we headed to Mt St Michel. We stayed at a campsite there, but in these little shacks that had no running water. Hey all! I know it's been a while since I blogged, but internet access has been expensive and we've been real busy. Everything's been expensive, thanks to the weak dollar and rising EU prices, but we're finally camping so we're saving a lot of money now. Since my last entry we finished our time in London, took the chunnel train down to Paris, visited some sites in Normandy, flew down to Venice and then took a train to Florence.
