We thought you were lost.
Hi, Chris and Frank. So good to hear from you. You disappeared down the road and that was that. We hope that boating is starting to show its good side to you and that you are enjoying it more. Think of the alternative - we have 3 degr, C and intermittent snow and rain with a mournfully dull sky. Try to keep cheerful and active under those circumstances. Thank goodness we have club meetings, etc. to keep us active. We hope that you are well, and we wish you a great boating season for 2012. Ursula and Herb.

Dear friends: As freezing rain comes down here, coating the car in ice and making the road impassable - Xanadu sounds and looks wonderful! Is that in Mexico? Sounds like a Mexican name. Enjoy yourselves. It\'s a good time not to be here. I am just wrapping up the sale of the Cottage Business, meanwhile booking lots of summer reservations. Happy it is doing well as I turn it over to Debbie (who is getting more excited and terrified everyday!) I think that she would prefer that we were home to answer her calls and emails instead of somewhat inaccessible on the road. But tonight we are on the road again and she is on her own for a week or so until we get back and hand the whole thing over to them. Jan.23 is the changeover date and the next day I will be turning 59! So on to the next chapter! Love you, Eliz XXOO

Happy New Year back to You
Where are you now? Was planning a phone call this week. We have had an unusual winter thus far; expect the shoe to fall soon though. We are not complaining, and the sun is on the rise and starting to "arise before I". Still no change in our residential status yet... been a long haul. As last year was the 100 anniversary year of the RCN, I have dug out all my Canadian Naval History books and started a re-read... good winter exercise. Cheers to you three. M&M

Your finally living the dream life! I am so happy for all 3 of you. Just checkin in also to see if your coming to Ontario this summer? Maurina and I got together with Marlene and Linda and hope to get together again sometime in June - if your here we want you to come. I went to an event at Albert College and I was telling Marlene I got an email that you had made it to Barbados - someone (didn't get the name) tapped me on the shoulder and asked if it was you guys - she was worried about you and relieved your in a safe place. Hi, Chris and Frank. When we look out of our window we see 4 daffodils and 3 red tulips. The rest of the patch looks brown and in need of attention. So thank you for the Sunday morning beauty spots on the computer. You are looking well. Don't forget to come by when you return to the not so frozen north. Keep well and happy. Ursula and Herb.

Photos and Good Company
Great photos! Keep them coming. You look and sound like this voyage has been great for all of you. Very wet here with lots of water on the land, not in Winnipeg though thankfully. The farmers will be late planting if and when they can get the seeds in. Marion is coming for a visit later this month and I am going to drive her and Mom out to the country south of Brandon to see my Mom's sister Mary (100 years young) and her husband. Hopefully the fields will be dry by then. Take care.

Your photos are outstanding and I would like to be out standing in them! We are wet and cool to cold. Been a poor April with water everywhere and farmers not able to get going. Arrived back from Windsor a few hours ago. My sister and I went to Duffy's for a fish and chips dinner last evening and drove on down past where your mother used to be. There are acres and acres of solar farms all around Amherstburg; also some windmills. we came back through LaSalle. Say high to 'Super Puppy' too. M&M

Great Friends in Port Lucaya
Signing your guestbook as I had promised! That vacation in the Bahamas with all the new friends I made was the best ever. We will always be friends. Dolphins and the pink house
Hi Jenny: Glad you liked the blog. As cruisers, the ICW is like a movie and we forget the real people live there. Thanks for the reality check. About the pink house... OMG! I hope those are just rumours because it was Frank's fav. at that moment. LOL About the dolphins...there seems to be an huge difference in dolphin populations, although we have not studied it at all. We miss them here in the Bahamas. The most we have seen were in the nooks and crannies of the Carolinas.

I found it interesting to see the pink house is you favorite, it is at the end of the street our vacation home is on in Snead's Ferry. I have heard rumor of many wild parties, porn shoots and even a body found in the swimming pool of the pink house!

so was the salad tasty? I remember being in Martinique at a restaurant and asking the maitre d'hotel what conch tasted like. we were speaking french and with a group of american tourist so he bent over and quitly said and I quote:" vous connaisser les pneus Michelins ?" Needless to say we did not order them. hope your experience was better. Hugs Jude

the video shows lovely sunny weather and calm seas. Perfect!!!!! Hope you are having the time of your life you merry adventurers. must admit to being very happy for you but a little envious too. cold wet and dreary here in Perth ontario but the snow drops are up in my garden and the snow is almost all gone/. no more shoveling says she hopefully. Saw a great and funny show with wendell Ferguson on the weekend with jerry. he was roll on the floor funny. Haven't laughed so hard in ages. Big warm hugs to you both. love jude
