The "Three Amigos" (Andrew, Luzia and I) left Burgos at 9:30 a.m. after a nice breakfast saying goodbye to folks who we had travelled with but we're ending in Burgos for various reasons (i.e., they had done part of the Camino before, had run out of time, etc). Luckily we were already at the top of the city and didn't have to walk too far to get out of it. The walk today, for the most part, was relatively light (only 16 km), as we were told that Tardajos was a nice stop. We came upon a private hostel, La Fabrica, as we entered Tardajos and decided to check it out. What a gem it turned out to be! The owners and their 2 young sons are absolutely lovely people - very hardworking and accommodating. I
