thanks It was wonderful to read more of your adventures! I'm trying to find a "Learning Vietnamese Like Crazy" course; you've inspired us to follow the same path. Thanks for sharing. ; )
Santa's Elfin Thai sous chef I just looked more carefully and saw that Elf Greg is also pictured in the cooking class! Santa is going to be very happy to know that his palate will soon be taken to new heights. No more reindeer with lingonberries... Maybe Rudoph a la galangal and lemongrass? Be sure to brings some Asian spices home. PS. You look very cute in Survivor wear. : )
Whoa nellie, that's a big golden reclining Buddha! Thanks for the GREAT update. So nice. Lizzie, I love the photo of you as little blonde smiling Asian chef. You've always loved Thai food 'cept for when you had a piece of red hot chili land and take up lodging in the subterranean recesses of your mouth when you were young. Be careful; you don't want to spoil a good thing... Greg, thanks for being such a wonderful travel partner! Yo le aprecio mucho. And thanks for restraining Lizzie's long held desire to have golden highlighted dread locks even though she would be the first dreaded log roller in recorded human history. Enjoy Vietnam! oxoxoxox
enjoy! We really think that these are the most fun years of your life- because you are foot loose and fancy free; before responsibilities kick in. We are so happy that you are globe-trotting and expanding your insights and perceptions. Yogi on the beach sounds fantastic. We are okay! Aksel just heard his UW Madison acceptance news and is very excited. Christian is in a logan/Menomanie Tennis match and Lincoln and I are taking a road trip to Viroqua for excitement. Thinking of you both!
miss you guys! Thank you for your ever inspiring blogs on ...well you know why. Kevin and I have been talking about writing you an extended email the past week but have yet to do so! We went to Honolulu last weekend and spent the whole time in the water in Waikiki. Despite the performance I put on in Hanalei Bay I can now call myself a surfer. I even was able to block for Kevin and steal waves from unsuspecting tourists. Looks like everything is in order. Remember that Thailand is a perilous place for a couple to keep their relationship steady! Just kidding. love you
Glad to see your receptive to parental pressure from afar! i.e: more blogging! The Gulf of Thailand looks wonderful! Wish we could enjoy the snorkeling in person. Sounds amazing! You two look mahvelous, as always, and as always, glad to see you have a drink in your hands. Hard work that backpacking, eh?! (BTW, what's in a good Thai painkiller?) Be careful in Bangkok. Aunt Linda said to be sure to stay near the river and to go to The Jim Thompson House. He was the man who brought the world Thai silk (after Marco Polo), looks amazing: www.jimthompsonhouse.com Be safe! Love from Mom and The Dad
Glad your blogging Sounds beautiful and like a lot of fun. The next stage of your trip is likely to be far different; educational, inspiring, and challenging in its own special ways. Be open but be safe. We love your blogs. xo
Love your blog Phillip and I are relaxing in Key West at Sunset Key. What a place! You guys traveled to the other side of the world, and we found paradise right here in the good old US of A. I'm looking forward to celebrating another birthday here tomorrow and what a place to have a celebration in!!!!!!!! Your dad supplied us with a bottle each of white and red wine, both absolutely wonderful as his wines always are. I know you two are relaxing (well, some of the time, and having more fun than two individuals aught to have. We LOVE you and miss you. Bye for now, Grammy and Phillip. XXOO
good times, good times it was so fun to have such great guests. I can't wait till we have more visitors. As for lizzie's fear of rodents, I feel as though that is more a fear inherited by mom and less a case of dad throughing mice at us! If that was the case, Tori would be deathly afraid of poop! don't ask...
You are flying now and Frammie and I hope that you have the best time, meet interesting and nice people, and above all, stay safe. Blog away when you can. Love, Pops and Frammie
Your father called and said he's truly sorry. He has offered to pay for your rat phobia therapy.
It's nice to see you and Katie together: "How good and pleasant it is to see sisters dwelling together in unity." Psalms 133 ; )
Take good care of one another down under!
Rachel's Mom Hi Lizzie, I think the last time I saw you was at Rachel and Kyle's wedding. She told me to check out your web site about your trip. I am amazed. I wouldn't know where to begin to put something like this together. Have a great trip. Of course, take lots of photos or Rachel will be disappointed in you. Be safe for sure-don't drink the water. Sandy Linhart
