Good start indeed Hi Lizzie-P. It all looks very exciting already. Like the street lights, they are fun. Many thanks for the lovely card sent before you left. Monday went quite well and not as stressfull as it might have been. Got my 'administration and domestic head' on just now and it is going well. May have a day out at the cricket tomorrow and go and see Boony at Derby. Have a lovely time. John
you I was talking about the times you would tell us how many bites the mozzies had given you in the night - Shirl promises to take over this role during the trip!!
Bertie says ......... Glad it all went OK - how's your posh hotel? Need piccies of the cafes and stuff. You'll have to ask one of the vendors if you can use their cooker! Now that would be a hoot ................
Thank You Hi Lizzie P. soon be time to go home but many thanks for taking us all with you on your trip in words and pictures. I have enjoyed it lots. Have a safe journey, John
Time Zones Rule OK? Have a safe journey Lizzie P and don't let the US security people get to you. It is maybe warming up a liittle here and Herbie will greet you with a big hug when you go home. Enjoy the rest of it. Love John
Heading for home Yes it's flown for us poor thimgs here too.
Good news about the pearly VW, it's still there but the landlord threatened to knock R's block off, Thererin lies a story.
Thanks a million for all your blogs.
Ha back to the agonies of pilates!
Cricket Yes - good eh? I went into a sports shop to buy something sporting and had the pleasure of asking fo rhte score.... they were not happy bunnies tee hee! Still OK to meet me?
Now is the hour Good you got a bit of coaching in. Looks as though NZ need a few players for the future. As you say, the time has flown by but what an experience!! In the pubs we used to sing 'Now is the Hour' at closing time and I believe it is a Maori song of farewell. Enjoy the rest of it Lizzie P. I suspect that you may well go back!! Love John
Beetle Oh no!! I have just got some good advice on how to find out who owns it too - drat!! Still I hope he has gone to a good home. And best bod seems to have deserted me..... but he's a man!!
Pilates I think of Pilates everytime I sleep in my tent - the relaxing lying on my back just about makes things good for sleeping. The best time was when the tent was pitched on a warmed sited in Rotorua!! I'll be back when it is warm!! LOL
water rollups Hi Lizzie, i bet you had trouble with your rollups on your water bed?, liz and i are on top level, as its too cold to get on the floor, i hope your thinking about us stretching and groaning.have a great time.
Beetle power I hope you got some good piccies of the VW Beetle shrine, I had to read it twice, it seemed so unlikely, trust you to find such a whacky place! I think the pearly Corbett Car Park one is no more, will check it out.
Haven't you heard from Best Bod yet? I'm working on it.
So much to see!! Hi Lizzie p. Seems as though you could spend twice, three times as long there and still have plenty to see. No 'cheap shots' about the nunnery though. It would be good to get another day at the cricket in Napier on your way north? Apparently Hawkes Bay is nice. Jugglers sound fun!! Love, John
Herbie Hi John, I left him with new flowers when I went - bribery being the surest way of working your way through a problem like desertion!! Saw some fabulous veteran cars today - 1920s. They were fantastic.
