Hey there! Hey you two! Hope all is well. I'm round your (Hannah's) mum's at the moment. Have just had a cuppa and am now probably being a bit anti-social by going online. Anyway, have just been speaking to my sis and she has said that they have put their house up for sale and have already put in a offer for a house in Gosport. I won't say which road it's in just in case there is a rival reading this who might then also put in an offer for the house. You've got watch these things you see! I hope I haven't now stolen her thunder because she is also going to post on here at some point I think. Well, I shall sign off for now. All there is left to say, to one of your other posters, who I have not seen since Holland is... Annie are you ok, so Annie are you ok, are you ok, Annie? Take care both of you and keep having fun. Up the Borough, Up the Saints!!
Sandcastle.............. :-) Good to see you took the advice, it would have been sacrilege not to build atleast one on the beach at some point while you're there.
Don't you mean daisies? Hi you two
Yes, watch out for those mozzies. Not good when they get hoing. Those mad Americans seem to get everywhere. Kat has had enough where she is. She's been shopping again and is sporting a nice 'Montecristi' hat! Keep practising the sandcastles. I want to see an improvement by the next.
Love Jeannie
That's a good sunset! Well I agree that is a good sunset but I think you need some South American lessons from Katherine in sandcastle building. Glad the sun has come out finally.
Love Aunty Jeannie
Oh my Gosh!!! No, you're not?! You never are?! Really?! Acyually going to do some work?!! Ah-ha. Now the jolly is over and, yes I hear the distant crack of a whip! To the grind stone girlies! Hope school remains as fab as it started. I'm heading home tomorrow, yay! Let's hear it for the UK...... (tumbleweed, I know). We can't all be on an African Adventure like you two! Loves ya! xx
Hello! Hiya...... have taken the hint re lack of msgs but I promise I have been keeping up to date with your progress and what you have been up to!! Photos look fab .... could you sneak me back at penguin too please they are soooo cute. Em x
Help I need to set the video Hi both of you. Well what a marvellous few days you have had and what alot you have packed in. Like Mum B I am really proud of you and what you have achieved in such a short space of time (my house is really tidy too!!). I am going out tomorrow night and I need to set the video - Hannah you said that I should learn how to do it - well I have got the instruction book out and I am going to have a bash. I will probably record the wrong thing. The postman delivered the ink cartridges today. I found the package in Jullia's bushes. There was a bit of a wind today so they probably blew off the step. I thought it was a bit of rubbish - good job I went and had a look. Anyway enjoy your day with the kids tomorrow I expect they are looking forward to seeing you both as well. Take care. Miss you xxxxx Mum O
I'm so proud! My daughter is turning into some sort of naturalist (Or is it naturist, I can't quite remember!) Glad to hear you have been to the gardens, I had spotted them on the map and would have been making a bee-line for them myself. The photos really are great, I'm hoping you will be able to put together some sort of power point for the children when you return. Some shots of every day life would be interesting. Your Dad is in heaven as he has managed two days of fishing and actually caught something on both occasions...today it was sunburn and I suspect tomorrow might be sunstroke but he is happy.Hattie thanks you for your various messages. She has spent part of today with John and Louie and has returned home for a rest. I don't think much of these early morning starts...Lottie was on the 6.45 ferry this morning and that was before the dog walk, sorting Nannan out for the day and answering your Dad's text messages. It's a good job he doesn't go away too often! The good weather is set to continue here but the gardens are getting very dry and shrivelled. Dare I say it that we could do with some of your rain!I think it must be back to school tomorrow for you girls. Take it in your stride and enjoy learning about another existence. We are indeed very lucky but not always the better for our fortune! Much love and missing you (The house is STILL tidy) xxx
Hola from España It sounds though you are having a good time and the photos are great, they add extra interest to your blog as we can see what you are talking about and where you have been, keep them coming! It's obviously a place full of history and very beautiful countryside from what you have said and what we have seen in the photos. You seem to be having quite an adventure down there - only a few thousand miles south of us!
Take care
Shaun and Julia
Have a nice trip ladies......
but, Hannah, I don't think I can put up with Kieran any further. I have to sit next to him for at least 10 hours most days and, to be frank, it's not healthy. Rambling on about Gosport, Southampton etc....to be honest I feel sorry for you!
Come back soon, or I might be forced to take, what some people might call, unreasonable action!
Again, have a nice trip!
Wow you have been busy!!!!!! Good to see you're both having a fabulous time, despite the rain. He! He! He! its been about 23° here for days now. You've seen loads so far! Are you going planning to do any more work??? I'm sure thats what you're there for??? Alteast you getting the chance to see all of the fablous places around you. The pictures look great, the places and scenery look amazing. I think you should avoid the hire cars from now on, you'll be getting a reputation!!!! Was very disappointed not to see a sand castle with that white lovely sand!!! xXxXxXx
Fabby pics.... But I wouldn't expect anything less to be fair. Only a few days in and the collection already shows that you have been very busy. Have you actually done any work?!?! It is Queens day here in Dutch-Land or rather it is tomorrow so it's very lively and there is lots of orange around! Keep the picture captions up I love them!
You lucky girls! Hi Girls, What a great trip... how many miles did you cover? It's very hard to get our bearings as the map is a little disjointed. Good to know you've met up with some of Bob's rellies, you will be able to take photos to show him on your return. Lottie is still away at Hannah's but due back tonight. Dad is soooo excited! I'm not so sure about those early mornings!Enjoy the rest of the weekend, will you take the car back tomorrow?
Wow Well my lovely have just read your latest jounal entry and wow those pictures what fantastic scenery, ain't you the lucky ones to be there amidst such a splendid coastline and mountains. Sounds like your both having a great time and I'm so pleased that you've had the chance to see so much of the local area so soon, and so very proud that you guys are doing it on your own. As much as I am missing you and in total awe of your adventures, I'm afraid that I am now going to mention the fact that I am going fishing in the Channel Islands tomorrow - for four days - yes four days Naa - Well that feels better! Love you loads Dad xxxxxx
Hello Liz So lovely to hear you and to know all is well. Hope your adventure is all you had wished for, beats painting my flat! Love from Senior adventurer and mice (Tit Willow) PS. Enjoyed my birthday books with thanks!
'Smile and wave boys!' Well penguins have certainly beaten the hummingbird today.... but what did you have for dinner???? I believe Kat has finally had 'THAT' certain creature that you hear about in South America. I won't mention it due to the vegetarians and the pet lovers who may read this! Keep snapping. The photos from two continents certainly help to fill the time !
P.S. When are you going to build the biggest sandcastle in the world?
Jeannie
Nelson Mandela I've told you about speaking to strangers mind you from the photos he doesn't look much of a threat. Hannah you must come home - I am eating and spending far too much and I need you to take me in hand. I always thought it was you that was a bad influence on me!! It sounds as though you are both having a wonderful time and long may it continue. Saints and Yeovil won today but I expect Kieran has already told you that. Take care both of you. Lots of love from mummy Owen xxxx
We've had an earthquake in the English Channel Hi girls
Thought I would keep you up with the news over here. Yep... a 4.3 on the scale shaking houses in Dover and Kent!
Also an news report actually on radio 4's one o'clock news talking about political unrest in Ecuador. I knew Kat would start stiring things up out there!!!
Now what do you mean you have a car??? They actually let you have one lizzie??? I'll leave that response to your mum..... Lovely photos and I am very jealous.
Love from Additional safety net, fussing 'mum'. (You see you'll have two of us checking on you Lizzie)
Life at home So today Uncle Rog attacked Nannan's flat with some help or hindrance from me. I've now got white and apple green hair and UR looks a lot more grey than he did. Four rooms later and Nan is pleased with the results...just in time for her birthday. Dad is getting very excited about Mondaya and the great fishing trip. Unfortunately he's running out of local victims to talk fishing with and has pinned poor Nannan to her chair with tales of the one that got away ,she'll be pleased to get back into her own flat again! Jennie has had a wonderful week in Crete, staying in a hotel and enjoying tours of the island. Only three children's reps out of 40. Lottie is off to the wedding tonight and looking forward to a weekend away from the madhouse I think. Liz, have you had a chance to contact Father Ted? Please try if you can. Jane called in on Monday morning with a lovely torch for you to take away...I will send it with the books but need you to confirm an address. We'd like to hear more about the local area and the temperature. Is it all as you had expected? Missing you ...especially as your room looks suprisingly tidy! No I haven't thrown anything away! Take special care on your road trip, look forward to hearing all about it with pictures. Much love xxx
