Are you bringing your washing home with you or will it make its own way? Ok, so I went for a walk with the dog and mowed the lawn!! Glad to hear you had such a great time together. You seem to have made some good friends and no doubt it will be hard to leave them all behind.Having said that there are some friends and family who can't wait to have you back. We had the 23rd on the calendar and had arranged a less frantic day so that I could at least come home for lunch to see you . Imagine our suprise to find its TUESDAY! Oh well, best laid plans and all that! Hannah's Mum and Grahame will be there to meet you at the airport, Dad's got a couple of hours off to catch up with all the news. How does roast sound? See you very soon, love Mum
Short but sweet or have you drunk too much? Do I ask ladies, or have you had a little too much liquid? A very strange blog today!!!! I've just seen where Katherine works but I though mice lived in a windmill. See Matson blog latest!!! I still think your cheetas, ors, ers are the best. (You can tell I've been at work all week)

Girls at work????? Wot no goggles, hard hat or even shoes!!!! obviously only one of you is the sensible one????? don't worry you're still special.Glad to see you are not relying on the opposite sex for the manual labour. Have you had a good nights sleep in the bed? (and not on the floor)
So obviously the Junior Camerons are now watching you and are wishing you lots of memorable experiences! Take care and look forward to the book!! xx
Lots of questions!!! Hey Year 3!!!
How nice it is to hear from you all! We aren't allowed to take photographs of the children at the school until our last day, so you may have to wait for them, I'm afraid! They do love all of your pictures though...they're treasured possessions!!!
We both loved the safari too! We didn't get close enough to the rhino's bottom to be able to tell if it was smelly...but it's dung certainly was!!!
We look forwards to hearing from you again soon and keep up the questions! xxx
cheetahs To Lizzie, are you having a good time?
We all like the photos of the cheetahs and the alligator. We liked the photo of the backside of the rhino, was it smelly?
It was funny when the heron was on the hippo's back and when the rhino dug his horn in the other ones bottom!
We liked when the penguins were holding hands and the sunsets looked cool.
Do you have any photos of the children and our pictures?
love from Year 3

Catching up! Oh wow! We've missed out on reading your blogs for the last couple of days but wow oh wow what fabulous photos of the safari. I can't believe you were able to cuddle cheetars or get as close to the rhino. We might not have seen the evidence for ourselves but the jungle telegraph has certainly kept us up to date !Kevin sends his best, he'll contact again in a few days when he has computer access again.
Hope that your move to the new residence will be a good one...perhaps a little nearer to civilisation. You'll be in good practice for DIY on your return...maybe you could re-do your room?!!!
Dad says hi, cant believe you have fitted in so much in such a short time. Here's to the adventures of the next two weeks!
wow hi Lizzie you lucky thing looks like your having a great time. bet the wildlife makes a change than the swans in the park in Gosport?????? do they bite as much. looking forward to your next up date. take care from the mad tribe at EXMOUTH
Hello Miss Bate.
We hope are having a good time. You are doing some of the things we have always wanted to do like go on safari and stroke the cheetahs. We have some questions for you, do you like the food, how are you finding the weather, did you have afavourite animal and have you married Johnny Depp yet?
Hammer or Hammered Cont..... So I obviously talked for too long (surprise!!..) as i run out of space to type, then hit enter and it dissapeared so I apologise for any spelling errors and gramatical issues (Liz please can you review these for me before posting!!!). Any way bye for now, oh thats what I thought was funny was the penguins I watched the marching penguins they are hilerious remind me of "Battle Chess" on the computer at School!! he he.. Have a great time, be careful speak soon. xxx
Hammer time or Hammered????? Well, hello ladies!! Firstly sorry for a late start in the messages etc, I have not had a computer for a week or so. Managed to accost a friends to write to you. Mind you I am amazed at how much there was to read, I only asked to use it for 2 minutes!!! An hour later I have finally read through the entire blogg!! Looks like you are having a great time, the safari is fab, had to laugh at Lizzi's near miss of the pond as that (sorry!) would have been typical!! I also hope that you have put signs on the bunk beds as some poor unsuspecting african child is likely to get squashed under one of those. Should mention that although you say they know about vegitarian's it would seem by the pictures of the food that you have only found deserts (or desserts (not sure which one! spelling never been strong point!) mind they lookd very nice! Pleased to hear about the children learning so fast that must be so rewarding. Any I hope to be able to log on more often from tomorrow as start the new job and should get a new laptop etc.
Blimey! Now thats something i never thought i would see?! (no offence Hannah) Liz with tools in her hand the right way up! just kidding, nice to see you doing some work in rain like the rest of us!? :-)
Safari! Hey! Looks like you had an incredible time. Glad to see that croc was safely on the other side of the fence though. I think you could certainly teach Kat a thing or two about safaris (i.e. they involve dangerous wild animals NOT harmless little orchids) she's getting the wrong idea over in Ecuador.
Hola! All I can say is wow! The only thing I was wondering is how many decent steaks you could make from one of those buffalo or perhaps the crocodile - as you can tell conservation was never my strong point, apart from conserving meat in the freezer of course (just kidding!!). It must be quite amazing to be so close to something in the wild that you would normally see in a zoo. I remember once being able to touch a rhino at the zoo in Royan, it felt like stroking a tank and I couldn't get over how big they are either, so for you to see them wild must really be something else. I expect several things that might consider you for lunch were probably lurking somewhere in all that undergrowth as well, good job you are in safe hands!!
Love Shaun and Julia
Safari Adventure Wow what great pictures. It certainly beats Marwell and the jeep safari we had in Cyprus. How ever are you both going to settle back into the mundane life which is known as Gosport. Been shopping again today -more money gone. Its going to rain tomorrow you will be pleased to hear so I will probably stay in and do the cleaning. Glad to see you are wearing your lovely hat Hans - Lizzie's is nice too. Have a good day in school tomorrow Love and hugs. Mum O xxxxxxx

Hi Hans Hi Hans. Glad to here you are having a fantastic time. Nick and I are off to see Stephanie for the weekend and because Auntie Hannah isn't here to look after them the dogs are coming with us and staying in kennels over night. I hope you feel guilty and think of them feeling all lonely and unloved for the night!!! Never mind, we will pick them up on Sunday morning and they will get to see their Stephanie which should make it up to them. Take care. LOL your Cous. xx
Bite Size So relieved to get internet working again, don't like being out of contact with u guys. It was lovely to hear you tonight and I think you've made Nannan's week/month with your call.
It's bank holiday weekend here but not planning too much-no caravaning this time until Dad finds his land-legs!Lottie will be on nights tomorrow...we're hoping for a day out on Monday to Dorset if the weather holds. It's been fabulous recently but a bit worrying as it's soooo dry! What's all this about crazy Americans? Do you really think anyone can beat the Rowlands clan for crazyness? What a thought! Enjoy Safari tomorrow... watch you dont get eaten by anything larger than a mozzi! Love you lots
I mean 'going' not 'hoing!!!' Hi Lizzie
I really must watch my typing or else it may get me into trouble. Katherine is off to the capital this weekend and hopes to book her trip to the Galapagos islands. ( I think that is the first time I've spelt it right??) ......Then it will be some interesting photos. I wonder if your penguins have relatives there???
