Glad to hear you are having such a fantastic time. If you fancy more sailing in Sydney let me know and I will hook you up with an old friend of mine. He will take you out racing in the harbour (Thursday afternoons if memory serves) - and get you very drunk afterwards!

Sorry I did not catch you before you left. I tried calling you mobile lots but I think you must have cancelled it by then- and I had lost my address book with your parents address in. Hopeless!
We missed you watching the rugby this weekend! Not the same without lots of Welsh and English together for some beer fights! The English pretty much thrashed the Welsh- so you would have been happy!
Sounds like you are having a lovely ol time out there. Are you heading down to Melbourne? Cos my godparents have a vineyard there you might like to visit?! I can put you in touch if you would like? Also have some other fun buddies in Sydney should you need a place to stay. How are you getting around? Wish I was there!
Switzerland is still fab though- been skiing most weekends so am beginning to get the hang of it- but have not got into doing any tricks just yet. Hav also found a rugby team to train with. They are very amateur which is just perfect for me!
Otherwise- all is still great with Ben...any boy gossip from you we should know about? The East coast is where it is at apparantly!
Seven sleeps............. ...............only seven sleeps to go now! I'm back in the office for my last week before my big holiday! Can't wait to see you - am v.v.v.excited! Sadly, am also v.v.v.disorganised! Starting the packing and realising that I've nothing I need - all still to do but I'm sure it'll work out just fine!
See you soon - glad you're having such a cool time

Hello Hey Liz, sounds like you're having a great time and have seen so much already in just a short time. I have a feeling that you're going to have a wonderful six months.
Missing you, but enjoying these regular updates.
Update of info I have been reliably informed (by a Mr Andrew Prestwich) that the grade I refer to above is ozeki and the top grade of Sumo is yokozuna. Many thanks, Mr P!
feel somewhat disappointed that the Japanese haven't experienced a melodious rendition of calafonia dreaming - but then we never did quite master singing four part harmony with one voice not for the want of trying. glad your safe lizzy whizzy. so sorry i was pathetic and poorly for your bash. sounds amazing already and i'm just very surprised you didn't slap and grunt in the ring with the best of them. they maybe big but there is no substitute for the southey slap and war dance. i am sure you'd have them running for another 20 raw eggs and 5 whole chickens!!!
Sayanara to the yen ? ... We see from the FTSE that Japan closed early yesterday as all traders were selling like mad ...could this be your influence ? ...
lots of love xxxxxx Us xxxxxx
Is the world ready for you ? Didn`t much enjoy seeing you off at Heathrow on Sunday ..although the tea and fruit toast did make it more bearable ..( and then the retail therapy and cinema trip on the way home....) But now looking forward to hearing even more about what you`ve seen in Japan ... do Sumo wrestlers Really do that ????
Lots of love and beware of toilets

I have been working non-stop since leaving university and last February I felt I had got to the point where I could buy a house and settle down or I could travel the world and mix-it-up globally...it was a tough decision.
While I have travelled quite a bit with my job and on holiday (Europe and the US), I felt I had never really got out there and seen stuff. Consequently, I am taking a 6-month sabbatical from work, starting in Jan 2006, and will be travelling to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador (and fingers crossed, the Galapagos Islands).... full info
