Buenos Dias!!!! Here is the first official blog from OUT of the U.S.! We have now been in Colombia for exactly one week!! And we are loving it :) We landed in Cartagena on the Carribean coast on Nov 13...Keren{s birthday!! We were so lucky to have been delayed because we came smack in the middle of the independence day celebrations including fire crackers, 1000 parades, throwing flour on each other, and of course the Miss Colombia beauty pageant! (which apparently is taken very seriously here!) Cartagena is an absolutly stunning city that was built in colonial times and is completly surrounded by a brick wall that keeps out pirates!
