Vicarious travel Hey there Wiggses.
Loving reading the blog and enjoying at second hand your fantastic-sounding voyage, tempered by a little niggle of regret that I didn't do something similar (or at least persist with the scraqps I started) while we were away. We have decided that you just type a lot faster, so it doesn't take two days to write about lunch.
Spain sounds so much more culturally diverse than most of the places we went; fascinating to see the layers of history overlaid what we gringos see as a "country". Perhaps a bit like Crete and the rest of Greece.
Looking forward to more news of the bike tour. May your saddles feel as warm mashed potatoes.

Reading your post makes me wish I was back in Barcelona again..right now.
Caixia Servico machine ..didn\'t discover this or the Metro when I was there a couple of years ago or get to see the inside of La Sagrada Familia ..Friends had told us about a fabulous restaurant near by and that was as far as we got!

Louise and Dave from Melbourne, Australia take on their first long O.S trip as a couple for a very long time! Apart from a trip to N.Z. a few years ago - they have spent the rest of their 31 years of married life either:
1. poor
2. with young kids
3. paying off the mortgage
4. slaves to the rhythm
....so now that
1. they are able
2. the kids are grown
3. that's handled
4. they can cut loose they take off on a 39 day trip of Spain combining their love of art (museum and street), food, architecture, music, bike riding and just hangin' out.
..hopefully just the first trip of man... full info
