When we got to New York, we checked in to a Hostel on the Upper West Side called Central Park Hostel, which was in a good location but unfortunatly wasn't such a nice place to stay. We arrived in San Francisco on the 1st July, after a very long flight from Fiji which felt like it lasted about 3 days. Rewarded by 2 nights in a private room to chill out and get our bearings, before moving on to the USA Hostel which is in the centre of San Francisco, not far from Union Square and all the shops (H&M is very dangerous place when you've been travelling for 3 months, especially when there's a sale on!). Bula! Apologies for the late entry, we've gotten lazy since we got to the US. Heres what happened in Fiiji.. When we arrived we were more than happy to discover how hot it was after 2 weeks spent in wintery Australia. G'day! (actually i haven't heard anybody say that, but they do say 'how you goin?' a lot...) It's been a bit colder in Australia, and it kind of looked like London when we arrived, it looking like England and was raining at the time. We left Penang and arrived in the Cameron Highlands after an eight hour coach ride (If we see another squat toilet I can not be held responsible for my actions!) The journey took us up and up winding mountains and everywhere is surrounded by tea and strawberry plantations, it’s a very beautiful setting. The weather up there is a lot cooler and greatly appreciated! We only have two halves of a day here so we headed straight out to see a strawberry plantation, and to be honest we were a little disappointed. Hey all! Sorry for the very late entry! Its difficult to find time and oppotunities to get to the internet, but in Malaysia now and have lots to tell! Hello from the Jungle!! We have arrived in Khao Sok, which is a national park in south thailand. It rains quite a bit here, prob cos its a rainforest! So we got a chance to use the internet for a bit. Since our last blog entry we have met our group who we will be touring with for the next 10 days, and they are all lovely! It is now our third day in Thailand, we arrived on Thursday at around 4ish thai time and were met at the airport by my Auntie Julie and partner Jeff. It was a bit cloudy but very very humid, the heat hit us instantly as we left the airport. We are staying at Julie's house which is in an area called Bang Na which is outside the centre, it's a lovely house in a very posh compound of houses which share a pool.
