Sea Stacks - From: From Sea to Shining Sea
They did remind me a bit of the hoodoos in Banff just carved from the water instead of the wind. I hope you, Lisa, Nicole and Kris have a good week in Nashville.

Your Trip - From: From Sea to Shining Sea
Thanks for interesting blogs. Am jealous. Description of haystacks was perfect; reminds me of hoodoos in Canadian Rockies, but in water. Hope you have a safe trip home. Anxious to see Kris tonight in Nashville.

buffalo and Lake MacDonald - From: Glacier National Park
The pictures are great. You need to consider doing a presentation for your schools when you go back to work. Perhaps you can title it "how I spent my summer vacation -- for the technologically savvy." I was wondering what you were eating for lunch at Lake MacDonald. Hopefully it was buffalo burgers and not a big Mac. Thanks for the use of the abode. The girls were very impressed. Kimberly took pics of you golf ball collection. Luci og lots of attention and catnip. But, I made her sleep alone. :) Jan

Dragster - From: Living in Sin with the Safety In...
I don't feel as bad waiting 2 hours now that I have heard your story. It was certainly a great experience, but I was even thinking two hours for a 20 second ride was a bit much. I'm sorry to hear that you had us beat by another 2 hours. Did you get to ride any of the other roller coasters that day?

Truffles - From: Deadwood to Jackson Hole
I know it doesn't sound good, but it was just a light flavor of beer and cheese in the cheesecake truffle.

The Windy City - From: The Windy City
I believe the bean is just the name given to the sculpture by the artist. I don't know of any other story other than that. When I said the wrong color won I meant the White Sox beat the Red sox in the baseball game. We're headed up to Glacier next. Any insights for that park?

Been there done that - From: Living in Sin with the Safety In...
I have been on the Dragster...my friend called it a life altering experience. Felt like the closest thing I would ever get to riding on the Space Shuttle...we waited 4 hours. Only reason is because after 2 hours were the next to go, actually in the car, and they stopped the ride due to something on the track. Determined not to give up our "Next to go" spot we waited..and waited..antoher 2 hours...was worth it and yet not....was awesome, but will never wait 4 hours for any ride ever again...but that was the ride to wait for if your gonna.

The BEAN - From: The Windy City
I've been to the subjurbs of Chicago, but never downtown. Am I the only one who does not know the Bean story? Would love to have seen Wrigley Field and a SOX game, but don't know what is meant by "wrong color"?:(

Love Chicagoland - From: The Windy City
Looks like you guys are having a great time! I loved Chicago, have been twice visiting a friend that lives in Joliet. Millenium park is so much fun, loved watching kids get spit on by the big giant head fountains. Good pic of the giant bean. Look foward to viewing more of your adventures Take care and stay safe, happy travels! Sue

wait and ride - From: Living in Sin with the Safety In...
Hey Eric, Sounds like an amazing adventure ride so far. You dad is so jealous I may have to send him to Cedar Point in the near future. But did you really mean that the 2 hour wait lead to a 20 minute ride? I would think if you two spent 20 minutes on that rollercoaster you can forget about jobs in education and food and go straigt to NASA. Keep on posting! Jan

ECOMP 6008 - From: Heading Out!
Hey Brent, I will be finishing up Module 6 on the road. We just bought a Verizon deal with a USB plugin for cell phone coverage when I can't pick up WI-FI. I'll be traveling from Sandusky to Chicago tomorrow. Going to catch a sox vs. sox game on Friday too at Comiskey.
