Parasailing
Hello! I am currently situated in the town of Interlaken Switzerland. I have been here for a few days now and unfortunately brought the rain with me, but it doesn´t matter because this hostel is awesome. I am probably one of the few Canadians here amongst a midst of "fill in the blank" State" t-shirt wearing Americans, needless to say I get many "Little America" comments, but we all know Vancouver beats Michigan· Dakota· Texas anyday. This place is the extreme sport capital of the world, but due to Bad weather many of the activities have been cancelled. I wasn´t happy to wake up at 7 this morning to find out my canyoning trip had been cancelled, so I went Parasailing instead (only because Sky diving was way out of the budget, and besides, what else ... read more
Germany
Croatia is amazing! We have been on the Island of Korcula for 5 days now and the water is so amazing, you can see the bottom in the deepest of waters. We spend the days at the beach because it is too hot to do anything else, average temperature here is in the 40's. The water is so salty which makes it super easy to stay afloat and super fun to swim in. Yesterday 8 of us rented a ˝speedboat˝ and cruised throughout the island and stopped off at various beaches, one having a 14th century monestary on it that was absolutely beautiful. The water here is much like the tropics, so warm and fun to swim in. The nightlife on this Island is full of tourists like us which makes conversation very interesting, yet often ... read more

Beaches
Bonjour! Still in Paris and I have more pics from my trip. Quick update, went to Nice for 6 nights, day trips to Cannes during the film festival and Monaco during the Grand Prix, now we are in Paris for the French Open, awesome. Hola from Spain!!! We arrived in Ibiza on the 14th late at night and our hotel overlooks the gorgeous ocean. Yesterday we woke up early and decided to rent Vespas and cruise the Island instead of going on those dorky tourist buses (since we had already done that in London) We lied and said we were pro stars at these bikes so of course 5 minutes into riding them as I am turning around in traffic I accidently hit the accelerator and hit the car in front of me, lose control and bail so hard. I thought the guy whose car I hit was going to get out and yell at me and instead he leans out the window and goes ´´are you ok?´ and drove on. I hurt my leg pretty badly, and broke the ... read more
