HEY, i was thinking of you this morning. We miss you here!!! I love your food picture, that's a really Chinese restaurant. I love all the menu, because you can't read it......LOL...which means that's really really great food there. I am looking forward to reading you more blogs.

oh dear!! i kinda freaked out when i kept reading my name!!! then i realized...ohhhhhhhhhhh rebecca knows ANOTHER queenie???! WAT A crazy rebecca world!! go queenie's! ok .. i'm really proud that you finally went into a small family owned local restuarant!!!!.. and thanks for taking pics of the food!! it does look yumms! go to more and take lots more photos!!

Hey Rebecca, i just saw this part of your blog. I want to taste some of your butter chicken. I love the pictures especially the one where you all made a chinese pose.The dessert looks so appealing.The whole blog makes me hungry lol.You really look calm and happy in the pics. Am guessing that the gal that sat next to you in the pics is ur roomie, she doesn't look chinese.

tis the season!!
the swarovski tree at eaton centre is still the same!!!!!!!!! as last year... i just wish they switch it up a bit!.. this year, they have bunchs of showcase stalls showcasing some of swarovski's products... pretttyyy:P and yes!! there's snow finally!! ! but now it turned to freezing rain :P and i soooooooooooo did not need to see your ball of hair!!! ahhahahah! i'll send my pic over as well just to show you how gross hair can be :) post more pics of food! :P

Love from edmonton
It's uplifting to read your travel log. It has been a great learning experience in Edmonton. I didn't go sight seeing at all. There're so much to immerse my mind and head to the ever evolving wold of cardiology. I guess I'm not ready to retire afterall. I'll take the evening flight home to Toronto. And I'll assume my on-call duty again from Thursday to Monday. And the Hallowen is coming on Sat. and so is the fall back on the clock by 1 hr. Glad that you're alive and well in China.God bless you. Im glad that you had a wonderful time. I wish I were there. I hope you find your Chinese root and identity among the ancient cities. Where are the pictures of the traditional Chinese hotel youve mentioned before? Have fun and enjoy your stay in China.But when e you coming home to Toronto?

happy belated thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!! i am happy to know you had a very delicious canadian style thanksgiving dinner!!! i figured if you were in Shanghai, you'll be eating peking ducks instead of turkey, hoisin sauce instead of gravy/cranberry sauce, minced duck lettuce wrap instead of mash potato etc! the asian style of thanksgiving! and yes, i expect pictures from your trip!

I'm glad you like the pictures :) Yes I know the poutine in Canada is much better....Bubba's in Kingston is superb!! So maybe you should mail me some Canadian poutine and I'll mail you a Bapple donut...deal??? ehhee. It's actually been rainy the past few days here in Shanghai....and EVERYONE is getting sick. Lots of my kids have been absent! But I'm pleased to say I'm healthy. okie, well you get better soon! Rest up!

i throughly enjoyed your pictures!!!! though i got to say.. the poutine at Julie's.......... YOU HAVE TO COME BACK TO CANADA TO HAVE POUTINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i didn't even see any cheese on the poutine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. thats the WHOLE point of a poutine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and your mommy looked really happy :)! how long did your mommy stay with you??!! i wanna be a teacher in china now:(!!! flowers and gifts?!! anytime of the year is good for tat! i miss you here in rainy canada!!.. yes.. i did say .. rain.... i know, it sucks! plus... i'm sick AGAIN!!!!!!!!! I've calculated...i get sick every other month..its terrible!!.. cos the last time i got sick was mid of july.. before then was beginning of may and so on... agaaaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... btw. feel free to mail over a bapple donut!:) :P

glad you started this blog! haha, reading some of the stuff, I can identify. like sticking out cuz i'm wearing plains clothes. Crossing the street here is different though. I just need to walk out calmly on the street, and cars will avoid you. They won't stop, they'll just swerve around on the wide, wide roads here. and HONK at you. To let you know not to do anything sudden.

Glad you made it back to Shanghai home safely!!! first point... if i went with you to beijing...we would be eating peking duck EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! second point....the funniest picture you have there is the fried bugs displayed next to fresh strawberries..! oh i had my giggles alright! there are so many constrasting points about that makes it funny:P
