Nice!
.... Scott seems to be a lucky charm in terms of seeing famous people in-situ - e.g the Pope in Rome and when you both saw Raul Castro in Cuba. Noice. (and no you probably can't count a pre-term Helen Clark. Does my spotting of David Bain at Cirque du Soleil count?)

Good to see you finally got to see the Toucans! Wish we could be there for your 30th; you'll have to have another one when you get back here. Crikey, Hartshorne hits 30...who'd have thought... Look forward to seeing you soon!

Yum
Good god Hartshorne; sounds like you've been eating your way around the planet...you could write a foodie guide after all this. I've just had a bowl of muesli but have a strange hankering for mexican after reading this... Enjoy the next leg. Looking forward to more tales on your return...

think twice about trekking himalayas...
Hi kylie, great blog..i was considering doing a similar trek, you've defo made me think twice about it though.. was it difficult? im not a climber, but a grand trekker...is it expensive to do? would you recommend your trip, or are there better tours to do it with?...sounds like a bit of hardship, was it worth it? good luck.

hi
Hey, hope you don't mind some random person reading your journal... I came across it , and discovered that I'm doing the same placement as you, though I'm starting in October and doing it for 8 weeks. I don't think you've mentioned anything negative which I havn't half-expected, but nice to be pre-warned! Just wondering whether theres anything you would particularily recommend taking? Or just any advice in general for preparation? thanks Rachael

Sounds like you are having the most amazing time over there! I am sure that your classes are going really well. Hope that you manage to steer clear of Delhi belly for the rest of your time in India. Look forward to seeing a photo of you shimmying around with sequins on your bum!
