Today marks the end of week one of my abroad experience in Denmark. I have about 16 more weeks to go. It has a been a very long first week, filled with lots of introductions, unfamiliar places, class orientations, and more independent opportunities for getting lost than I have ever been afforded in my life, thus far. Orientations began Sunday, after an overnight flight straight out of Chicago. I didn't sleep much on the plane, so adjusting to the seven hour difference wasn't much of a feat; whenever it was time, I was ready to crash. Sunday's orientation consisted of a few powerpoint presentations on what to expect in Copenhagen and in our respective living situations, distribution of stipends and international cell phones, and the ultimate pairing of each student to their host family, danish roommate,
