More Please ... Oh Vikki - you didnt write enough about your time in the Cinque Terre - it is my dream to go there. We were in Italy last year, (seeing some other parts of the dream) but didnt get to the riveria ... I wanted to hear all the details. Am loving your blogs - and am looking forward to the next one. Cheers, Tania.
Thank you! ....for taking me from the drudgery of the office to the adventures to be had when you are on the road with a backpack, a Lonely Planet and a love for life!
I just love your blog Viki, it reminds me of all the fun Carro and I had on our travels....there's nothing compares to getting off a bus, train or plane in a strange land knowing that the next few days will leave you with memories to last a lifetime....oh how i miss travelling! Keep those blogs coming, they are priceless! Enjoy London and all it has to offer....you can never be bored in London, but in time you'll yearn for the unstructured freedom of life on the road with someone you love and the constant surprises that those untouched corners of the world dish up! Take care and try not to smile too much or you'll end up with a face like a wrinkly old elephant!! x

What an inspiration Hi Vicky, it has to be said that you have certainly given me some 'wanderlust' inspiration this last year, what a trip, glad you have enjoyed it so much. And shared it, particularly I am still struck by your stories of the roadtrip in Alaska which clearly was quite amazing. Looking forward to your news!
Beautiful Photos Hey Vicki, Yet again your photos are looking stunning - they bring back memories of my travels through that part of the world, and the fun I had there! Hope you are looking after yourself. Speak soon, love anna (ps. am back to Copenhagen next weekend to visit Coop's - looking forward to another visit to the lovely country of Denmark!!)
Congratulations on a Successful Journey! Hello Dear Friend! Laos looks beautiful! Gosh...would never have thought to travel there! Let me know when you have returned to Denmark! :) Can hardly believe that the Christmas Season is almost here! :) (You must share the almond in the pudding recipe with me) :) lol. I shall never forget that. What a fun tradition! Still in Michigan w/mom. Hmmmm...do you have New Year's plans? Anyway...much to discuss! TTYS! Jodie
I don´t have any more words it just all seems so fantastic and different from what I ever have seen, so I am glad that you are the one who has seen it all, because you are a fantastic author and I am looking forward to hear your stories.
Love Tanja
Wow Hey Vix
What a beautiful story teller and writer you are! It was so good reading your blog and confirming my feelings and thoughts exactly. You summed up our whole experience wonderfully. I am glad you are feeling 100% better and that you both had a nice relaxing time on the slow boat.
I have just had dinner and am sipping Jacobs Creek Chardonnay - quietly planning when I will next go back to Luang Prabang.
Lots of love
Tassa xx
Couple of things Firstly, your friend Red looks uncannily like his namesake in the city of sales, secondly, you are looking sharp with the blonde locks, thirdly, make sure you ring me in NZ to go get hammered on Export Gold at Degree for old times sake!
one more message! Danish Girl! Am noticing how much my Mom has been emailing you!! Doesn't she know you're MY friend?!! Good thing I became a good 'share-er' in Kindergarten and know how to share my friends too!! Working on the Kiwi version of the vanilla slice, but am still on the quest for the big cookie! Once again, sooo looking forward to catching up with you! Do, however, savour every remaining moment of your ventures ...you're doing such a great thing ...living life to the fullest ...GO DANISH GIRL!!
The eternal wanderer Thanks for all your wonderful comments, Tania. Yes, it will be so hard to settle again. I truly wish I could travel all my life but I guess I have to be realistic as well. You always want what you cant have and I think if I traveled for the rest of my life I would probably want a place to call home at some stage. Have met quite a few babies in Africa I would like to adopt though :-)
Vanilla Slice Thanks Mama Eileen, means a lot to me you are thinking of me. Dont worry I will be looking after Canadian girl no worries. And be sure I will be back for more Vanilla Slice one day. Big hug, Vic
Awe Inspiring Vicki Your African adventure just makes me want to jump on the next plane!! It's been wonderful reading about Africa and all of your experiences Vicki, in your own heartfelt words!! Very inspirational - it's like we have lived your journey. (Sorry, I must have drunk too much red wine tonight ...) I think you should keep on travelling, and writing your blog ... you wont want to settle down and work now!! Look forward to catch up with you on your return. Cheers, Tania
Africa and Ice Cream What a cool ending to your trip. I've heard great things about Africa and now I feel like I have experienced them too. Thanks for being a great story teller. Hopefully by the time you arrive back the NZ summer would have finally kicked off (we got a glimpse of it on Sunday!) and it will ease you gently back into life here. It you fancy a new career inventing and eating new ice creams, Tip Top are creating some new marketing roles...
Holding down the Kiwi-Fort! Danish Girl, Danish Girl, Danish Girl ...what an AMAZING trip you are having! I've taken to wearing a bib while reading your blogs due to all the drooling which seems to be happening on my part! I'm holding down the fort as best I can over here in Kiwi-land, but not sure how much longer I can do it!! Soo looking forward to your return ...and the best thing is, I don't have a strict training regime to follow which means socializing takes a priority even more than before! I've already been practicing ...just ask Al, John and Tracey!!!
lucky you.... how lucky you are I am looking forward to seing all your photoes when you hopefully onetime reach back to little Denmark. Kisses allso from Emilie and Jonatan they really liked your lion photo... yours Tanja

Ready for New Zealand summer Hey Kath - will be back in Auckland on Nov 16, flying to Akaroa for your wedding on the 23th, so excited!
Am currently in Thailand, had a great time at the beaches although got a bad ear infection after trying to free dive. So have seen a few Thai hospitals these days. Thank God for travel insurance.
Am attempting to update my second Africa blog - it will be well worth the wait let me tell you.
See you soon,
Vic
Freedom, independence, adventure, passion and challenge. Those are the six simple words that define my core values, which I worked out when I did a life coaching session exactly 12 months ago. So, it wasn’t hard to decide what I had to do next when I had to decide between my next career move, buying a house and going traveling. I mean how much freedom and passion can you possibly get out of being a home owner? So, anyway to cut a long story short, oe minute I was doing 50h working weeks thinking work was the most important thing in my life and the next minute I was tossing up kayaking in Alas... full info
