Hi again I hope everyone is well! We have been chillin in The Gili’s and are slow to get things done!! We spent 5 days in Bangkok visiting our friends and enjoying eating good food, Ice cream, watching their daughter’s baseball game, seeing the out of this world malls (especially Pantip, 6 floors of everything to do with electronics and cameras). I was in heaven! Bill was very patient; he just kept going back for ice cream. We picked up our 2 month Indonesian visa and found a cheap flight to Bali on one of the cheap airlines working in Asia. We arrived in Bali and it was pouring rain. We looked for rooms and the prices seemed to have doubled since last year but the standards hadn’t improved. UG We had our bags delayed so ... read more

Hi everyone sorry it's been a while but we seem to have been on the move and in Countries with not much internet. After Cambodia we bussed it back to Vietnam then went back north up the coast to Hoi Anh to enjoy all the taylor shops and Indian food. They have the best Indian food we have ever tasted! After Vietnam we flew to Myanmar. it is a really interesting country, quite poor and the people are the friendliest we have ever met! We travelled from Yangoon, where we experienced the most beautiful Buddist temple with an awesome gold Stuppa that is another wonder of the world! Then to Lake Inlay to experience a more rural life living with the lake as the provider! Mandaley was another big city but it had the most wonderful old ... read more

The beach it's really busy during Tet Well Hi from the beach at Sihanoukville! It has been the New year holiday so we found a great place to chill while the crowds are out on holiday! The beach is nice but very busy so we have lounged by the pool, reading books and playing on the computer (skyping our kids and bothering them like we were still at home hehehhee) through the holiday period! The place we are at is really nice that we have been extending our stay so that means we have joined the travellers (no one plans ahead they just go as they please) in changing rooms quite often it is really quite fun and good thing we dont have to much really to carry! I found this definition and it's perfect!! OMG: ... read more

Hi there well we've been gone for about 2 weeks and I am just startint the blog!! We had a good and long flight to Ho Chi Min and stayed for a few days getting over the jet lag and getting new glasses etc. We met our friends the Brooms from Rosebery BC the first night and went to a great Curry resturant just like we did last year when we spent time with them so it was a great start. We flew to Nah Trang and stayed a few days but the weather was cool and rainy (not the hot beach weather we had enjoyed last year) so we decided to move on and find a spot to settle in as Tet is coming and the whole country shuts down and goes on holiday (also ... read more
