Ground Control
Keith your "selfies" are priceless! And your ending your blogs with a blessed even of the day including the toilet paper was hilarious. Obviously the one thing everyone needs on the El Camino is a huge sense of humor to keep one forging ahead. You may need to get your own "doudou" before you come home. Sal 'n Al xo

Keep on truckin'....
Hey Keith - I continue to very much enjoy your blogs. Especially your candor, it providrs relief (vs concern) in knowing you are carefully making the right decisions for you and your adversaries "the twins" (feet ;). Keep up the efforts with the "selfies" - they are an interesting (hilarious actually) part of your journey and let us know that you are still smiling ;) Truly an amazing experience that you have undertaken and an inspiration of determination. Whatever decision you make concerning "all or plan b" is part of the journey! "Don't stop believing ...". Angie xo

Life's like a road...
God love ya Keith, keep on treking as long as you can, and you will decide what is best for you...everyone's journey is different. Nonetheless, so proud of you and love the pants off of ya!

Glad your toes got taken care of...
and that you were permitted to continue your pilgrimage...and the weather is cooler.

Many years have passed...
If it's not the feet it's the crazy partiers?! Hard to catch a break. We are holding our breath hoping the clinic/doctor can recommend something for your feet. Maybe just a few days off to rest, to enjoy life at a slower pace, and resume. So you guys have been given a crash course on what it is to be human...hungry, thirsty, hot, tired, annoyed, lonely, frustrated, angry, and repeat. I've read that applying vaseline to dry feet adds a protective barrier or alternately powder to stop the friction...but I'm sure you have tried everything :) hang in there guys!

Many years etc.
She's home! Zachary gave her such a great smile and Xava is so happy. Have a good rest. Now I can rest a little. :) Take care, keep writing.....

Walk like an Egyptian comment
Ahww Keith, so sorry your feet are so upset......once Tanya leaves, you should lay up a bit and rest them, then decide what to do. How is Tanya leaving the camino and is she flying from Madrid? Can't wait to hear more, do keep writing. Safe trip home, Tanya! Your little family can't wait to see you!

But the fool on the hill...
Aww Keith, you made me cry! Listen up fella, you are following your dream, and nobody said a dream had to be all or nothing! So, put your shoes up on the table with no soles on them, show them your feet, kill 'em with kindness and your wit, and I'm sure you will manage to get all your stamps with your charm (and maybe without walking the entire way)!! And as Ralph Waldo Emmerson said, "Life is a journey, not a destination" You are having a once in a lifetime journey Keith, so go with it, eat, drink wine, enjoy the people, and come home richer for it. And we are richer for following your experience without taking a step :) Sal and Al xoxoxo

So what you didnt walk the full Camino.. YOU DID Walk it though!!! Only you in your gut knows what the right thing to do is! If this is your dream.. you live it out how YOU imagined it :) Goodluck and keep wrapping those baby toes.. Think of the toes on a ballerina.. and all the pain they encounter... Ice your feet lots and keep on taking your mountain candy! WERE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH like you couldnt imagine! XOX LOVE YOU GUYS Conita James & Keido Man!

Mads Dogs & Englishmen
I don't know how you do it, but in all your pictures you are smiling despite the pain & heat etc. I think if I saw a wine font in the middle of nowhere that would be my oasis! And the best, 6 ladies from Cork! I told you Keith, the Irish always will go to your rescue :) Loving the blogs, and so proud of your accomplishment each day! I cheer you on from my lazy boy! Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
The food sounds delicious and your hosts sound so warm & welcoming (and your accommodations are getting better - YAY). Thanks for painting such a picture of your walk & glad to hear those bleeping "cherries" in the end were great. And the "doudou" (snuggly) brought us a smile. Good work; keep on truckin'! You say you want a revolution...
Keith & Tanya, how the heck are you? Sounds like you are using some major skills to get by! Blogging's not easy; I know how much work it is to download pics & try and recapture experiences but Keith you are a natural at it!!! Glad you are making new friends (as if you wouldn't!) and are enjoying some nice food & drink along the way. As I sign off on a rainy day in Ottawa I can only picture how much of an impact this trip will have on both your lives. Imagine Tanya doing this with her kids some day. Freakin' fabulous. Love you, Sal & Al xoxoxo

Foot problems
Eric suggest deodorant/antiperspirant for your feet to prevent blisters. Eric suggest licking the tip of your ear plug before you insert it, it will go deeper Love you guys and so proud of you
