After quite a bit of traveling, I decided to go back to Gandoca to volunteer for another 2 weeks with the Sea turtles. OK, so I got to the Park and as expected, nobody knew that I was coming. Just one sign of how isolated the Project Coordinators are. With no telephone or email, its always hard to reach the members in the Park, so updated volunteer lists are rare. Well, what shall I say, I finished the Volcano Trail and am back in San Jose. The Volcano Trail was an organised Tour by GAP Adventures. The plan was to cross 4 countries in 15 days, starting in Antigua, Guatemala via Honduras and Nicaragua back to San Jose passing lots of Volcanoes on the way. I initially booked this tour, because I thought it was easier to see a bit of every country in a short amount of time. And, yes I did indeed! Dumdidumdidum.... Ok, so since the last time I wrote, I changed locations 3 times and changed countries as well! So much can happen in just a week. Well, as I mentioned, I had to leave Bahia Drake due to lack of funds. Its a pretty isolated place and unfortunately they dont have a bank, so I didnt go horseback riding as planned and neither did I go snorkeling to see dolphins and other things! Gutted! Oh my god, I dont ever want to leave! It is so beautiful here! The Peninsula de Osa is just the best place! And I only have 2 months left!! I left Puerto Jimenez yesterday to come to Bahia Drake. Just needed to chill and sit in the sun for a bit. And guess what, it is actually very sunny and sooo hot! Brilliant! Got a bit of sunburn this morning though. ...ya no puede caminar. Porque no tiene, porque le falta Marihuana que fumar. (I dont think this is the proper version...) So I made it to Puerto Jimenez in one piece, although travelling on my own and missing the correct bus stop... Well, I was supposed to get off in Palmar Norte, which is in the north of the Pensinsula de Osa and about 6-7 hours on the bus from San Jose. So, I am back in San Jose for a day. Well actually I am leaving again today. It took ages to get back from Panama! Its been raining for the past few days, so no fun! And, belive it or nit, I am losing my tan already!!! Oh well.. So, we left the hostel, with 2 minutes spare for the water taxi, which took an hour to Changuinola. Hola amigos! Ok, so much to tell you! I have just left the National Park in Gandoca after 2 weeks of Turtle Conservation. Sorry I havent been in touch as frequently as before, but the station is in the middle of nowhere and we just had a shop, a bar and a telephone in the village, so no Internet! The Turtle Project was absolutely amazing! Its really hard work, as I said, but seeing the big leatherbacks was absolutely worth it! Hola amigos!! OK, so I spent the last week in the park in Gandoca! Its been fun, but really exhausting as well! We arrived on Sunday noght and caused a little confusion, as we werent really expected, so there was no room for us at the station. By us I mean 3 other girls from the school and me, by the way. Ok, so Ive been in Costa Rica for a month now and still, everything is exciting! Well, I d be worried if it wouldnt be... SO, I have finished school yesterday, which was sad in a way, because now its on me to improve my Spanish, but hey I am still surrounded by all these Spanish speaking people, which is at times still jibberish to me!! Hola amigos! Just a quick entry! Dont have time again and keyboard is crap!!! Went to Cahuita on the in the north this weekend! Muy caliente y muy tranquilo!!! Is quite on the caribbean site and every thing is a bit more relaxed... There is this constant smell of weed in the streets, which is whz everything is more relaxed, I guess... Beach was great, got a tan!!! haha!!! No sunburn this time!
