Thanks for the Update
Wow! What a fantastic first week. Thanks for the pictures and your thoughts about your first week there. It really helps us to be able to peek into your window of opportunity and share a little of your fantastic journey. We noticed the snacks you had taken a picture of. Are these snacks available there or did you bring them with you? Thanks for including a picture of your dinner. We were going to ask you about the different types of food that are available there. Since Walter and I are both cooks, we are always interested in the types of foods and preparations that different regions enjoy. Take care and enjoy your week. Jennifer! Oh my! I am so excited for you! You are probably freaking out. In less then 48 hours you will be in an airport starting your journey. You will discover and learn so much about yourself and the world around you. I wish the best of luck to you and I expect loads of pictures! Ahhh your going to Africa!!!!!!! Yes. I havn't known you for too long but I want to say that I love you! You Jennifer, are doing amazing things in your life. 6 months?! Wowza! I'm Volunteering Too
Hi, Jennifer. I'll be seeing you soon - I start volunteering at VMF on Nov 7th. I'm from Portland, Oregon, so we're practically neighbors in this situation! (I've even been to Billings, Montana, many years ago.) I'm having a heck of a time planning/packing for one month, so I can't imagine how you're doing it for six months!
