Hey everyone, nothing too much going on. Been in Adelaide for about a week now, and the weather is much different from Brisbane. There it's still around the mid 70's during the day, going into the winter season, and sunny. Here, it's in the 50's, and it's a little windy and rainy. I actually enjoy it though, there are leaves on the ground, a little chill in the air, feels like a great fall day. Adelaide is the capitol of South Australia, and one of the older and more historic cities around. There are alot of old buildings, churches, and sites to see. Once the sun comes out a little more, I'll take some photos and post them up here. And I'm about to start looking for some places to go around here and things to ... read more

Yesterday I went to a place called Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The place is pretty much a shelter for Australian wildlife, due to their natural habitat being endangered. They has alot of animals, and demonstrations. The most interesting was a sheep dog demonstration. I couldn't get any pics, mainly b/c I was so interested and caught up in it, but also b/c it was in a pasture and the dog and sheep were running back and forth. The pictures of the birds look amazing close full size. It was a really nice place, and interesting things to see. Hope you enjoy the pics. And a little funny story, the pic with the Koala looking over the projector screen... We were watching a presentation on the Koala's on the screen, and the guy was talking, all of ... read more

Hey everyone, just wanted to update this. Last friday, I went to the Gold Coast, pretty nice place. The beaches are amazing here, the water is almost completely clear. The pictures I took looking down into the water, where you can see the bottom, was about knee deep. In the U.S. the water is way too cloudy for anything like that. The beaches are amazing, and I thought I'd post some pictures to show it. The website was having a few problems, so some of the pictures copied twice, and I'm sure some didn't copy at all, but I hope you enjoy...... read more

Ok, so 3 weeks ago, I didnt have a passport, or really imagined I'd need one. Well in about 30 hours my plane leaves to Brisgane, Australia. It's crazy how thing work out. This will be the first time I'll ever go out of my time zone. So it's going to be an amazing experience. Over the past week, people have asked me if I'm nervous, or worried. I can honestly answer "no". I'm not sure why, but in no way am I worried, nervous, or scared about what's going to happen. I'm going for up to 12 months on a working visa. I'm going with a total of around $1600USD, that should convert into around $2100AUD. I'll be able to get a job, and that will be the biggest challenge. Once that is taken care ... read more
