Happy Birthday, Jeff! We are thinking of you- have a great birthday today. Love your blog......please post a photo of yourself soon, so we really know that you are actually there!!!
Photography award... actually you get this after posting 100 pictures, which is pretty easy. The next level is like 5000 pictures. But do not let this deflate you...I nominated you for Blogger of the Week, so hopefully you will get that before your travels are completed.
Photograph Award Thanks for the information on the photo award. And thanks for reading. I am pretty sure you are the only person I do not know who is reading this thing. I wanted you to know I appreciate your nice comments.
One minor flaw... Jeff -- you should have been in the photo in your standard t-shirt and kacky shorts:)
Prague is now officially on my travel list.
Since I am always confused when you are actual birthday is, I will give you a shout out for a Happy Birthday across several time zones:). Please post a picture of you eating some dessert on your special day, which I think is July 29 ( no thanks to the confusion established many years ago by Burczyk and Matt).
Keep posting and safe travels
Pictures Great pictures Jeff!! Except for the Julie Andrews moments in the mountains - Did you still get to sing "the hills are alive with the sound of music"?
Tim Nikolai's Photos For you readers that do not know, Tim Nikolai is a very skilled photographer. I like to think I am pretty good too. What is fun is that we are interested in completely different things. Tim generally likes to compose photographs of things. I am much more interested in people. But at this point I am traveling on my own so mostly I am mostly composing pictures of things. WHICH TIM LIKES.
No Triple X reference? For shame! To be honest, I'm a little distraught. I was HOPING for a full-scale reenactment of the Charles Bridge boat chase featuring Vin Diesel in xXx, since you are certainly a dead ringer for that finest of actors. I recognized, though, that such a feat might be hard to pull off, and so I tempered my yearning for that event with realistic caution.
But not even a casual shout out in the blog, to the seminal movie moment that defines the cinematography of the early 2000s? That, monseiur, is shocking.
;)
The trip sounds amazing, but I'm looking forward to seeing you in Madtown one of these days!!

Vin Diesel Jed my friend, an actor of Mr. Diesel's caliber would only be tarnished by a shout out from me. Plus, there will plenty of excitement and adventure coming up on in future blogs.
Prague Patrick, so great to hear from you. Prague should really go on your list. I truly have enjoyed my time here. The city itself is great, but also did some day trips that I will be blogging about. Hope the whole Finley Clan is well.
George Jeff, what are they saying in Prague about Prince GAL? Have you bumped into any Justices? I hear the K+K is almost as nice as the Chesterton West. Keep updating us on the clubs.
Prague and Baby Matt, the folks here in Prague are reacting the same way everyone around the world is ... They are going crazy. Long Live King (ok ... Future King George). The clubs in Prague are great and I will be updating you all on the club scene over the next couple of days.
Wein Yes, mein herr, but you do have to keep in mind that the German "W" is pronounced as a "V" - so, really, all you're doing is dropping the final "na" from the English word (so, Vienna becomes Vien).
This is the source of one of my favorite, totally nerdy music jokes:
Q: To what question is the answer "9W"?
A: Do you spell your name with a "v", Mr. Wagner?
Keep 'em coming!! I love reading about your travels!
Jed
PS When I saw the title of your blog post, I thought you were going to be riffing on Wein Vienna, as in "we in Vienna". Boy, was I wrong.
Wow! Jeff,
I finally took the time to (start) reading your Blog. I love listening to your stories (more fun however in person over a Miller Lite). I am so glad you are sharing details of your trip. I will read thoughyour entries in more detail. Be safe and have fun!
Photos My good friend Tom makes a very good point. I customarily wait for people/crowds to clear out of frame so I can clearly frame whatever it is I am photographing. But we I blog about all the people in the square, and then you don't see a lot of people, that is confusing. I will try to upload some more "natural" looking pics.
Jeff likes to travel and more importantly he likes to write witty little blogs about his travels. His blogs are generally factual, but certain names, places and/or events have been changed to protect the innocent (or to punctuate a joke). Jeff thinks he is funnier than he is, and he has an unattractive habit of referring to himself in the third-person, or, even worse, as JJF. The spelling mistakes are real (JJF is not trying to be funny, he really is misspelling those words). And the stories? Well the stories go on ... and on ... and on ..., but what is truly annoying, what makes people r... full info

Danced 'till dawn???!!! Who's writing this? We all know this is not possible, as JJF turns into a pumpkin well before midnight!!
