no Mrs. Ernest,
I thought we had discussed the "picture". We will have to talk once again upon your safe return, Enjoy you last few days and we look forward to discussing your adventure. Be safe!
pick up plans email Hi Karen, AND MS. THOMAS ( I am not sure which email address is yours so pleas reply when you get a chance )
I will be taking a van with 6 seats available for students. There are 15 students and the two adults. Not sure if any of them have a different ride lined up.
I will be conducting some business in the cities during the day. So I will go to the airport from wherever I am.
If you are going from Onamia you can take 169 to 94 at rogers, then 694/494 around the cities to the airport.
It will be rush hour traffic so give enough time. Two hours minimum without traffic, maybe three hours to be safe during heavy traffic. You can hang out at IKEA if you are there early.
My preferred route is 35 E thru downtown St. Paul and then I take 5 ( West 7th Street) to the airport. (Very Easy just follow the intl airport sign lindburg terminal ) If I am early, I will stop and have coffee on 5 (west 7th) at the Caribou next to McDonalds. Join me if you want...
I suggest we plan to pick the kids at the far end of the baggage claim area. It is easiest for a large group to assemble there. Maja has her phone and will call me when they land. I can then call you to let you know. They are supposed to arrive at 6:45 pm.
My cell is 320.291.2584
Please let me know your cell #s.
I will let Jen Earnest know of these plans as soon as we all agree on them.

Lindsey, great rock ! I want one just like it !
Jen .... tell us about meals other than the paella.......
all in hotels ? any new taste senations ?? is it changing from country to country ? craving tater-tot casserole yet ?
Nice! From the looks of it you are having a wonderful time and seeing some very gorgeous scenery and very old places. Glad all is going well. I see Lindsey's rock and it makes me think of my trip to Ireland and on the way home my purse was so heavy . I got home and was dumping out my purse to clean it out and there were all my cool rocks I had picked up on the trip.I thought I had tossed them in a pocket in my suitcase. Rocks are great memorabilia. A special greeting to Jenn and Kim. Take care all and continue on your cross world trek.
Hey I hope all is well and that everything has gone well. It looks like all of you guys are having a great time! Looking forward to all the stories miss you all be safe and see you soon! LOVE JAY

class room Interesting news! We came to class on Monday to a tine flood! The ceiling was leaking all weekend and water was soaked into the carpet in about a 1/4 of the room! It was pretty bad and smelled like mold all day. So we had to squish the desks and freeze with the windows open for the last two day while they try to fix it. We wish we were with you all!!
Looking good! Jen and all, Looks like everyone is having a great time. When I was in Spain, we spent a lot of time in Barcelona and had some of the best food I've ever had to date - and that was in 1969! The paella was wonderful, full of seafood and we had snails that still make my mouth water when I think of them - we sucked them right out of the shells.
The best advise we received when traveling is if you're hungry ask a cop where to go eat. They know the best places and the prices are right.
Enjoy your trip and be safe!
Diane

Clint, I've always wanted to try Paella--can't wait to read/hear more about it! I thought it was interesting that it was Paella Mexicana.
Folks, this is such an amazing opportunity to see and experience parts of the world and cultures that you may not get again. Enjoy!
