I had the opportunity to travel throughout my life and one of the most treasured things that I take with me is memorable photographs. I am living the dream of traveling to places where I can communicate with people, learn their local culture, taste their traditional food and capturing special moments, not just merely passing by through an airport while obtaining a new visa in my passport.

I woke up in the morning excited to see the Dalida monument in Place Montmartre. It was not planned in our vacation plan but the opportunity was there. It was a rainy day and the granite stairs going up to the monument were quite slippery. Once there, it was silence...a place where a bench would be welcome. As I approached the bust, a group of three old ladies came closer exchanging few excited thoughts and they started to sing one of Dalida's songs.
