The Beginning
This trip starts with my Mom and Dad traveling to China on an old freighter, their courtship and wedding, and evacuation from China to Thailand in May 1949. I was born shortly after in Bangkok, Thailand. This records my preschool years in Thailand, from 1949 to 1956, and my first trip around the world from 1952-53.
