I feel like the classic American tourist with starry eyes and camera around my neck. Even though it has rained on and off ever since I got here, and I had a bit of jet lag, I have been a diligent tourist. I went to Parliament, big ben, the London eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, a few museums, a cheeky English pub, a wine bar, great coffe shops and I road a double decker bus, the tube, and a boat down the Thames AND I went to Stonehenge! I Feel like there is so much to write about that it is almost overwhelming so I will just focus on a few things. I have had a very long two days. After seeing my buddy RJ off in Salt Lake, I boarded the plane to Dallas which was only a two and half hour flight, where I continued on to London on a 9 hour flight which made it so I arrived in London at 8AM this morning which was really 1AM in Idaho. I haven't slept a wink all night, and I'm a bit loopy. Dallas/Fort Worth is a pretty cool terminal. It's so large you have to take a monorail to get from terminal to terminal, and they have some 138 restaurants. I'm sitting at the Villa Coffeehouse in Idaho Falls trying to figure out how to write a blog entry. So I guess this is my first if it works. If entries seem disjointed at first, bare with me. For anyone who doesn't know about my endeavor, I am flying to London on March 31st to start my three month trek across Europe. 1 month in France, 1 month in Italy, and 1 month split up between Croatia, Slovenia, Italy again, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. That is of course if everything goes as planned. I have never traveled outside of the U.S. before (except for Baja Mexico and the Bahamas) and I'm going about this with a fervor equal to a wolverine attacking a huckleberry pie.
