Wednesday started at 9am. We borded the bus and everyone was so excited because today was rafting day! Our professor gave us motion sickness medicine cause there were a lot of sharp turns continously. After the bus took the medication, someone noticed one of the side effects was drowiness! Yeah, that knocked most of out or if we fought it, loopy. I slept for about an hour. It was some good stuff, but we all know it was probably for the best. We went to lunch in a little French town called Saint Jean Pied de Port. It was such a cute little French town that I didn't want to leave! Pamplona - Finally!

We got here on Sunday and took 2 buses to the dorm. The buses were interesting because we had to take one to the other. The second one took about an hour to finally come around to the stop. Once we got to the dorm, we all breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, I could unpack my suitcase! Monday a small group of us explored Pamplona and old town. Old town is so pretty and many girls said it actually looked like Italy with the different colored buildings. The view from the top of old town down into the valley is so beautiful mainly due to the mountains in the background. We didn't have class until 2:30, which was really nice to have a little time off. After arriving at 7am (1am my time), I got my baggage and proceeded to wait until 11am for everyone to get there. Then me, 9 other girls, and one lonely boy made the trek to our hostel. At first it was a little overwhelming, but once we figured out that the train symbol is not the same as the bus symbol...life got easier. We took a bus to a train and then walked 4 blocks with all of our luggage --- the weight limit was 50lbs for the plane and I used 48 lbs. Oh yeah buildin' those muscles...kind of.
