We got here on Sunday and took 2 buses to the dorm. The buses were interesting because we had to take one to the other. The second one took about an hour to finally come around to the stop. Once we got to the dorm, we all breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, I could unpack my suitcase!

Monday a small group of us explored Pamplona and old town. Old town is so pretty and many girls said it actually looked like Italy with the different colored buildings. The view from the top of old town down into the valley is so beautiful mainly due to the mountains in the background. We didn't have class until 2:30, which was really nice to have a little time off. We had been going constantly since getting to Spain. Class was....class....

Tuesday we had a culture lesson. During the lesson, we went on a trek to see Pamplona. We saw so many cool things. The archtecture here is amazing! Then to the think how old it really is can overwhelm you. The guide spoke good English and told us the water was safe to drink because it came from the mountains. When we hit a water fountain, it was like finding water in the desert! Everyone went to the watering hole. lol

We went to southern France on Wednesday, but I will put that day in its own blog because j'adore France!!!

We spent most of the day time in class learning fun econ. Oh, yes econ can be fun....not... At night, we explored old town and ate tapas on Thursday for 2 euro! It was the special night, so we ate cheaply. This is always a good thing for poor college in another country, who are now even poorer cause of the stupid exchange rate. Either way we had fun!

The only thing that is hard is that for some reason my brain doesn't like to remember my room number in Spain. So, the front desk people now see me and immediately know my room number!

Enjoy the pics!

This is the memorial to the people who fought during the Spanish civil war. They also used it as a safe place during the war.
