I can't believe you actually tried Guinness! Wow Heather....it sounds like you had a really nice time in Wales and Ireland. The things you did with Rich and his family seem very Greenwood-like. I can just imagine hiking with your parents and eating roast beef and yorkshire pudding. Rich's place looks beautiful and what a great way to have an authentic Welsh experience! I can't wait to see all your pictures when you get home. You'll have to make a slide show like your parents did! See you soon!
all smiley reading this... hey heather!!! i think this was my fave entry so far (well, the grownup treehouse and zip-lines were awesome too...). i love the whirlwind travelling across europe... not to mention how romantic paris is in the springtime (so i've heard..). aww so happy for you! i remember us chatting before you left, saying it was so hard to not plan it all out, and just let things happen... looks like it turned out incredibly that you did. much love, steph. ps! im home june 2-10 for a breather, let me know if you're in the GTA and we'll meet up. love you tons, so glad you are having a great time. ahem... nerd.
Can't wait! Hi Heath! Wow, now I am even more excited to visit! I can now start to imagine myself there. I love the pop-up map; will for sure have to get myself one of those haha ;) Anyways, only four more days! Can't wait to see you :) Love, Aimee -xoxo-

SOO excited! Hey Heath! Reading this has made me even that much more excited to come!! I can't believe that I get to see you in less than 5 days!! It'll be awesome to see everything that you just talked about. Looks amazing, can't wait! XOXO
cool stuff Heather - I totally owe you an email update and am soo sorry about the lack of communication. Anyhow, I made it through all your blogs and your stories are amazing! Keep the adventures up and hope you're now enjoying London with a special someone ;)
I just burst out laughing out loud when I read about the bear bite and monkey slap! Too bad those aren't on video! HA HA
Can I just say thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new part of the world that I want to explore!? You are extremely courageous and now cultured, do have done all that you have in such a short time! (Unfotunately for me, I will have to wait quite awhile before embarking on any more adventures.... I bought a condo!! Oceanfront! You will HAVE to come visit so we can spend days catchin up!)
Enjoy the rest of your travels! Love you and Miss you!
How cool is that!! Hey Heather! (or shall i say Swiss Family Robinson member!) That is one of the coolest things ever, seriously. You are so adventurous, I love it.
xoxo Steph
Heather, i'm so glad you have been having a great trip...God certainly has been good to you! You are safe and have learned so much! Thanks for sharing it all. I feel like i've been on this trip with you....wish that was true! I really want to go to some of these places myself now. Have a great time seeing more of Europe, i know you'll love it, having been there myself. We definitely have to get together this summer, as i'll be off on my first teacher's summer! Take care and God bless!
Oh my goodness Heather! I love this entry, especially this: I managed to walk away with a bear bite on my arm and a sore cheek from being slapped across the face by the monkey. How hilarious is that???
This sounded like an amazing trip, you are sooo lucky!
What did you do in Chiang Mai? I've booked a flight there for June 30 and have reservations at Elephant Nature Park, but what do you recommend?
HAVE FUN!
hooray for new blogs!
sounds like your trip is continuing in full force, right til the end!
i especially liked the 'foreshadowing' of a good story in the next blog!
i also saw from your msn name that you're almost in london? does that mean you'll be back in canada soonish???

Wow, Heather, that is a really great description of Cambodia. What an incredible way to learn more about these different countries, people, and what you are capable of. Keep writing, I love reading your perspective on travelling. xoxo Steph
Big change from Suan Mohkk, does all that shopping make up for the disappointment of Surf City?
Everyones sending travel updates today, I'm jealous :-(
Wow! Wow Heather, that is crazy! Congrats on the snorkelling, I'm still trying to work up the courage to go surfing... sounds incredible tho. Your hotel room looks awesome too, way to find such a steal ;). I definitely laughed about the 'Munchies Tour', that is so bizarre!! I think I would have been ticked there was no pineapple hahah. Keep posting your adventures!! I love them all so far :D
xoxo Steph
Wish you were in the Soo with me Hey Heath!
Went skiing at Hiawatha today....dragged Jeff out for his first x-c experience...he was dying just a bit so I was making wine cellar jokes about him. Missed you today and wish you were there to ski the Red Pine with me and watch me kill myself. Sorry I missed you this morning...haven't talked in ages! Heading back to Waterloo tomorrow unfortunately...still love the Soo but it's better when everyone is home!
I'm impressed! If you think my wise crack about you and April means anything, think about me in a place like that. You know where you get the gab from and I wouldn't have tried it for even 24 hours. I'm impressed! I agree with Hillary though - the toilet paper thing was definitely entertainment.
WOW OMG Heather, that is ridiculous....I sort of see how some people might be interested in that, but to me it sounds like torture! I don't know how you did 3 days of it, seriously. It said no entertainment, but that toilet paper escapade sounds like entertainment to me, missy! Wow, it really opens your eyes up to different lifestyles eh? Crazy...well, speaking of boredom, I should get back to studying, which is also a form of torture. Miss you lots. XOXO
I can't believe you guys did that Heather, I was laughing hysterically reading your blog. At the same time I respect you for doing that. I honestly don't think I would have lasted more than about 20 minutes there. It definitely sounds like a memorable experience and at least you can see the humour in it! You really are a brave girl for doing all the things you've done in the past few months. I'm doing something that is brave for me. I'm going in the Polar Bear swim at Bellevue Park today. As my mom put it, if Heather can go bungee jumping in New Zealand, then you can do the Polar Bear swim. I'll be thinking of you and probably wishing that I was also in a hot southeast Asian country right now. I can't wait to hear about the next adventure!
Heather,
All I can say is that I'm proud of you that you lasted 3 days! Makes me think that the library where I'm living this weekend isn't so much of a jail after all! I think we both know I wouldn't have made it that long! Miss you like crazy! xoxo
